Complete disappointment for our birthday boy!!!
Our family was planning to celebrate our son?s birthday in your restaurant in Liverpool Speke. He had invited his best friend to come to the celebration. I even received a reminder from your chain yesterday about the booking! All this just to discover a notice on the restaurant door saying about the restaurant closure due to the failed oven today?
Could not you at least email me before our visit to the restaurant??? We don?t live nearby but have traveled for 45 minutes there & 45 minutes back!!!

I'll get straight to the point. This place is filthy and very expensive. The seats are so sticky, we had to sit on our menus. Tables are also sticky. Food and service is average.

The good - Food came out quickly, kids enjoyed it. Children's meals were quite good value for money. Staff were friendly.
The bad - hot honey chicken bites were tasteless and overpriced. Table and seats were sticky and there was an unpleasant smell. Small adult pizza was £20! This was only big enough for one person. Had it not been my child's choice for her birthday I wouldn't have eaten here, I wouldn't rush back.
Kid-friendliness: Children get a colouring sheet and pens, food came quickly.

I never write reviews, in fact this is my first one. However I feel compelled to write this because of my poor experience tonight at pizza hutt. I work in a restaurant and so am constantly thriving to push reviews earned by excellent service and food. I am aware this is a pizza hutt and not a fine dining Italian restaurant.
I haven?t been to pizza hut for many years, but I have always been welcomed by a member of staff in a warm manner, and sat to a table and given table service.
Tonight was me and my partners first day off together in about a month and we decided to go out for a last minute meal. We haven?t been out together in the longest time and decided to go out. We chose pizza hutt because I always liked it growing up and it was always great and I thought reasonably priced.
Upon arrival a young gent greeted us by saying ?hi, a two?? In a non interested manner. I said ?I?ve booked a table? to which he replied ?you didn?t need to?. So I then answered his initial not interested question and said ?yeah a table for two please?.
He asked ?any preference on a table?? Suddenly it feels like we?re in a Wetherspoons.
I choose some random table on the spot. He sits us, gives us two menus, mine has crayon marks all over it. He says ?you can order with me if you want. Or you can order on the QR code.? Didn?t even offer a drink, introduce himself, nothing. The QR code didn?t even work on my partners phone but worked on mine. I scanned the code to be taken to a website not knowing much about the menu and confused by the overpriced alcoholic drinks for the sheer inconsiderate service. £6 for a bottle of San Miguel and a menu with drawings on it? I didn?t see our host after this interaction. After sitting there for a few minutes disappointed on my phone at a dining table and feeling unwelcome, we left and went elsewhere.
I understand the fact that perhaps pizza hutt isn?t what it used to be. But I don?t think the brand nor management would approve of this (lack of) service. Why offer guests to book a table if your staff don?t care ?
Hope you can improve.

Perfect end to family day out. Great service. Great food loved it as did the kids. Clean tidy well laid out. Amazing experience.

Sticky seats with holes in. Salad bar has limp looking salad and manky onions. Pizza buffet was all deep pan, when I requested a thin base I was faced with a surly young lad telling me you get what you?re given. When I asked again within earshot of his manager I finally got a pizza I requested. Suffice to say I won?t be going back.

Everything was ok however it felt like you had to wait a while for more pizza to be brought out on the buffet. Also, the manager was having a go at staff in front of customers which I found to be unprofessional. At least pull them to one side away from the guests.
