Nice shop although quite often I leave empty handed. That ?beautiful lady with red hair? is rather rude though and behaves as if she?s uncomfortable with you browsing the shelves near her. I?m sorry for showing interest in the products. Also, she started serving another customer before I managed to pack my shopping like it?s a supermarket and we?re in a rush. On another occasion she was also closing the shop way earlier than normally and again I felt rushed.

I do have to say I am rather surprised by the raving reviews this charity shop has received and I would have once agreed with many of them but unfortunately my experience today left an extremely bitter taste in my mouth. Time and time again I have found that certain charity shops, specifically the staff, may look down upon you or judge you more differently than the elderly and other people in the shop depending on the way you present yourself or the way in which you speak and tragically this is all too true today. I have quite the habit of popping into a few charity shops every now and then, especially since my oldest daughter adores them, but this specific shop had quite the unwelcoming atmosphere specifically towards my daughter. She has autism and thus finds it difficult to properly communicate or collect herself in public places due to this the staff alienated her and almost caused her to enter a severe panic attack. I am ashamed that a place of charity and aid would willingly portray this sickening behaviour and quite frankly it turns my stomach.

An absolute gem when it comes to vintage and secondhand furniture across three floors. Check out their sideboards, kitchen furniture and sofas. Delivery can also be done for a small cost which is really handy.

This is the second Oxfam on Allerton Road. It provides a wide assortment of used furniture at really great prices. There are actually three floors of furniture and you will everything you can imagine here in all styles--beds, bookcases, night stands, CD storage, display cabinets for collectables, you-name-it. Some of the pieces here are very nice and you will certainly be getting a great deal as compared to what you would pay in a department store or a catalogue.

Good for type-writers, kitchen bric-a-brac, excellent for books and ok for records - also lots of often reasonably priced furniture. Famously opens on Christmas day for some odd reason!

This oxfam store is of high quality, meaning that the clothing is of high quality, prices are little more expensive than most but you are getting what you pay for, and lets not forget that proceeds are going to charity!!! I find myself in here alot and I always come out with something. Highly recommended for modern garments, not so much for true vintage!
