I really like this Matalan and I visit every time I'm in Liverpool.
There is a great range of products for babies, women, men, home, birthday cards and garden. I always find a beautiful summer dress in there at a great price. The quality is very good for the prices you pay.
I found using the self service tills is very daunting. I found it hard to take the security tags off my items and it feels like you're working there for free to be honest. The gentleman who helped me though was very kind and efficient at his job and was happy to help.
Grab a bargain but leave enough time to faff at the self service tills.

Clothes, accessories, fine, but why oh why do they make you buy there large horrible looking heavy duty bags that cost £2, utterly stupid, queued for ages , gets the till and they never ever have bags, so there forcing customers to pay for them large things?

I find this shop quite hard to navigate TBH, I only wanted the shoe section nut struggled to find it, then the self service tills were not working, leading to large queues fir the manned one.

Miserable staff especially the woman who was working on the fitting rooms today (8 sept) rolled her eyes if a customer tried something on which wasn?t right and she had to rehang it and put it back out for sale. Put me off buying what I was going to
