Honestly the worst experience, save your money, possibly the worst cafe I have been in, unclean, 1 toilet for the whole shop, That's a disabled toilet shared for everyone. Go to the pound bakery and get a better experience. Awful.

I would have given it zero stars if there was an option. Far too small, coffee served in cardboard cup and cake given in a paper bag. We had to wait for quite a long time for a seat because the seating area is tiny.

Utterly terrible. What wally designed café for midgets and one Toilet. I waited 15 Minutes to go. This is a massive mistake and will cost them dearly. I will never grace this store again as I do like a nice café like Cheshire Oakes and Chester. I wouldn't even call this a café, more like a shed. I have heard of cost cutting but seriously this takes the Micky. This store must hold thousands of shoppers especially at Christmas so what happens if you have two young children who need to go? It has opened my eyes up the way these clown designers and developers work to just treat people as though they are just Plain stupid. Another Customer lost due to poor planning. I bet staff have really good Bathroom Facilities.

M&S coffee shop in new L1 store. Dreadful, paper cups, food in brown paper bags, Small area next to toilet with the queue in the coffee shop. Wouldn't go there again. Awful!

So disappointed in the new M&S store in Liverpool I went today for a days Christmas shopping with my daughter we decided to go to M&S new store for lunch only to find it no longer has a proper cafe it?s grab & go food only I think you have made a mistake here M&S and the other thing it only has one toilet in the whole store the-queuing was a nightmare what is going on I definitely won?t be going again come on M&S you can do so much better.

Appalling cafe hardly any tables and chairs tables not cleaned drinks in takeaway cartons scone in a bag!! One unisex toilet for the whole store with queue snaking around the space less café Clear to see Marks not interested in customer care!!! Will go to Lewis in future won't be returning to Liverpool one store!!!

The so-called ?cafe? is disgraceful ? tiny, food looks unappetising, member of staff serving looked unhygienic and if that wasn?t bad enough, only one unisex toilet in the entire store. I turned round and walked out. I know M&S don?t give a toss about their customers, only profit but this has crossed a line. Won?t be returning. The store is horrible.

TERRIBLE. We miss the old cafe with lovely staff, more food options and most importantly MORE SEATS. I had a sausage roll, you would get a better one in greggs. Very limited cakes available when a lot of people enjoy a hot drink with a piece of cake??? Also the lack of seating is a disgrace and it?s SO small. There was a lady in a wheelchair who could barely get past the tables to leave so not disability friendly at all. avoid avoid avoid, yet again some Tory CEO in London thinking it?s a good idea and hasn?t got a clue what local people want

Oh my days! What is this place trying to be? Stuck.in a corner with insufficient seats, overpriced sandwiches and an "offer" of a pastry and a drink for £4.50? ? On entering, we didn't know where to go to.order or queue, people seemed to be milling about looking for seats to take the weight off their feet and enjoy a cuppa or suchlike, as a respite from shopping. Buying a beef brioche and asking if they had any mustard, I was told no, not even in a sachet. The brioche tasted dry and old...£5.50! If M&S want it to be used as a take out service, get rid of the seating. If they want it as a cafe, take it seriously and plan it properly! It is a real disgrace imho, for them to deem it acceptable to their valued, and valuable, clientele. Not just any disorganised, uninspiring, soulless, lacklustre café, this is a M&S café!

Dreadful store especially the so called "Cafe" . Paper cups, no crockery! Please can someone from M&S explain why the cafe only has 22 seats ( yes thats seats not tables) for a city centre store . The previous store was always busy and had 10 times more seating Please can M&S explain why there is one single toilet for the whole store?? Please explain the logic to your customers! Shocking! Jaw dropping!

Far too small, and queue for toilets snakes around the cafe. Really shot themselves in the foot with this... Per square foot cafes are usually the biggest earners...Turned around as soon as I saw the state of the cafe will not be returning and will not recommend.

Really bad! Told no room then reluctantly offered a vacant table.Tea served in a disposable cup was just a tea bag with hot water poured on. Toasties served in a paper bag. Low seating at a high table. Oh dear M and S - a new low . I won't be back.

Terrible - couldn?t find a seat and when we did very long queue for the toilet that was inside the tiny cafe - very unhygienic - very disappointed
