I've been trying to make an appointment for ENT. I'm on my 4th telephone number (one on the letter is unavailable) and now I've been on hold for over 45 minutes on 290 4610 whilst the 'receptionist' is looking for someone to help...all I want is to book an appointment. Think she's gone on lunch....or home...maybe to the moon....

Had many appointments with the main woman doctor and sometimes Make drs cannot fault anyone i have seen, dealt with my requests/concerns quickly and effectively. Receptionists are nice. Haven?t really had a bad experience with them.

I had skin surgery today at Longview Medical Centre and after reading some of these reviews I was dreading it. However there was absolutely nothing at all to be worried about. Dr. Alexander was reassuring, friendly and professional and so were the lovely nurses and reception staff. Thank you.

Reception staff especially Nancy and Jessica are always helpful and friendly, not to mention efficient!Current practice nurse, Ann takes time to listen and couldn't be more helpful! Thank you.Dr Alexander and his team, in my opinion, work hard to make this health centre a place where patients come first.

Receptionist was a miserable are! And nurse can't understand and speak English. It's shocking way this practise runs. Asked manager but apparently she's ( Claire Green ) been told that unreachable and they treat you like an item. They really consider shutting down this practise. Moved to else where. Ain't gonna let this go away as am going to raise this worh local MP local news etc social media. If you can't do what you supposed to do let someone useful person to do what you can't do! I have absolutely no problem getting through on the phone or getting an appointment, it may not be on the day I call but I never have to wait more than 2days. Excellent service Doctor's and reception staff.

My grandson had an appointment this afternoon at 14.20 I booked him in at reception ?the receptionist forgot to book him in so at 14.50 I asked at reception why he hadn?t been called..receptionist said she?d forgot so went to ask GP if he could be seen?receptionist came back and said GP wouldn?t see him?he is 3 1/2 years old his twin brother started with the same symptoms and was admitted on Sunday evening after attending Whiston Hospital?surely this makes him extremely vulnerable as a small child etc. I would like an explanation

I wish I didn't have to even give them one star they don't deserve it at all my dad has been with this doctor for 5 years and yer only once seen a doctor once hate the place and now all that time my dad has needed to be seen now he's only got 6 to 12 months to live them so called woman at reception really need a good slap careless little brats

After struggling with my previous doctors surgery, i was seen at my new surgery, Longview medical Centre.Upon registering here with the receptionist, who took her time to explain how this surgery works, I received a new patient check up with the nurse, I?ve never had that before at any practice I?ve been at.The day I needed a appointment I was able to be seen quickly (on the day of calling and explaining what was wrong) and received the appropriate treatment from Dr Alexander and received a follow up appointment to check if issue was cleared.Can?t thank them enough as was struggling (reception staff and doctor were helpful and kind) so grateful that I changed medical centres!

I was in urgent need of an appointment with a nurse as I had got bitten by a stray dog and needed immediate assistance. I was able to get through to the receptionist who was so kind and very caring and was able to assign me to a nurse that was able to cater for my needs. I was assigned to a nurse named Vicky, Vicky was so lovely and down to earth she instantly made me feel relaxed and we had a good laugh during the process. So much so that I didn't even feel the vaccine going into my arm. She done an amazing job and I feel confident and at ease to go there again! Absolutely amazing service! 100% Recommend!

The receptionist answered calls and puts the phone down. 10 times i called this morning and i could hear her answer and then put it down. I have made an official complaint about this as that could av been an elderly person in urgent need of care! Absolutely disgusting! You never get to see the same doctors its always new ones or stand ins so you just get sent away.

The doctors are lovely and very prompt and I have no issue with them, however the receptionists are something else! I mainly speak to Jessica and an older lady, both are rude and dismissive, honestly I don't know how they can work in an environment when they're dealing with vulnerable people. They pick and choose what policy they want that day. They're so uncaring and unhelpful. What is the point in having a GP surgery when you have to jump through every hoop going just to be seen? They're simply just not bothered about their service users. I've rang before with a suspected rash on my toddler, they've just said "Aww sorry you'll just have to ring back next week we've got nothing" and the exact same response when my 4 year old had tracheal tugging, which resulted in her having to go to the hospital after the walk-in centre found her oxygen levels were low. She now needs a regular inhaler! These receptionists will rather see you suffer than be helpful.
