I would like to thank the lovely lady who works In your cafe today my daughter grandson and baby granddaughter were having a light lunch when my daughter spilt a full cup of coffee all over herself whilst putting the baby into her pram the lady was amazing went over and above to help us she was really kind and I'm only sorry I didn't get her name thank you so much ?? what a credit to the cafe you are xx

I have visited a few times and it?s always been very pleasant.
The service is always lovely and despite the fact it?s situated in a large garden centre, it?s a very cute homely cafe, would definitely recommend for a quick coffee or a catch up with friends and lunch!
The only thing limiting this to 4 stars is that some of the food hasn?t been the best, I loved the avocado toast and scrambled eggs. However I found the halloumi burger to be a bit too thick, I think it would be better if it was smaller halloumi bites rather than one big block of it!

Went here for the first time for Sunday brunch, and were sadly disappointed in the food, especially for the pretty inflated price. I had scrambled egg on sourdough with a side order of bacon - the portions were fine, and it looked good but the sourdough wasn?t really toasted and the scrambled eggs were a little overcooked and distinctly lacking in seasoning. My husband had eggs Benedict which was nice enough, but he thought the hollandaise sauce was just salad cream. He too ordered a side of bacon? this was forgotten at first then, when it did come, was only one piece instead of 2. When we mentioned this at the till when paying we were told an adjustment would be made. It wasn?t - we paid full price. We won?t be going back in a hurry unfortunately.

Positives:
*A lovely looking cafe nestled within a glass box in the Inspirations Home Decor warehouse style store.
*The menu looks nice, the aesthetic is nice, the cakes look yummy.
*Plenty of parking spaces
Negatives:
*Unfortunately the thing that lets it down is one of the most important factors in a cafe, Customer Service.
I have visited twice in the last week and on both occasions there were many female waitresses and it was clear that most of them didnt possess any natural customer service skills, they were all just there doing a job. The bare minimum engagement with customers, taking the order, thats it. They were very animated & happy chatting between themselves behind the counter though & openly on their phones. I heard many personal conversations, discussing their private lives, even negative comments about customers that had just complained on a table near me, things I didnt wish to hear, a total lack of care & awareness of their surroundings, very unprofessional behaviour in the workplace.
There didnt seem to be a Manager present, felt like a classroom without a Teacher. The customer experience is all about how friendly and warm, inviting the staff are. Whoever does manage the café would do well to invest time training the staff in the ways of good Customer Service = Repeat Business.
*No Customer Wifi
*Dirty floors, not swept & tables not sprayed/cleaned fully when customers leave

Lovely place took my dad for his 95th birthday he wanted an all day breakfast which was delicious washed down with proper pot of tea ?
No room for cake so we will be back as I want to try the Welsh Rarebit

Waited over an hour for food, which we were warned about as it was a Saturday lunchtime. When the food came it was very very nice so can?t complain, although?. Service with a smile obviously isn?t something they?ve heard of in Leaf and Vine because I felt like the biggest inconvenience any time I asked for anything, including sauces and the bill. Would recommend for the scran but the service let them down out of a high rating:D

I have been to the Leaf & vine many times. Today I came with a friend, I ordered a tuna baked potato, I was very disappointed in the presentation just a few lettuce leaves & potato on plate did not look appetising at all.

Been here a few times and when I have done I would get the breakfast which is usually very nice and worth the price, however the last time I went I ordered from the Christmas menu I was presented with a panini with one miserable slice of beef on garnished with a huge amount of rocket to make up for the sight of a single dry slice of beef. It may just be the Christmas items or the fact that the cafe gets busy this time of year so the food prep was rushed but I feel like 12 great British pounds for what I got was not worth it at all. Lovely, nice cafe. As expected it was busy on a friday afternoon and because of this service was a bit slow. It took 45 minutes after ordering but still it was expected and food was delightful. We had tomato basil cheddar toat and avocado on toast with scrambled eggs with fries and halloumi fries as sides. Asked couple of condiments and recieved plentiful.
Small insigts : asked for unsweetened almond milk, waitress said she will check but no one said if it was sweeteened or not but couldnt taste it so no problem. ? no one brought any salt but we also didnt ask for it. Cafe is bound to the shop so they have to play store music, another small negative but not any nor all can effect the 5 star rating. Good job. ??
