Great service, amazing food, there's a reason King Do has stood the test of time.

Just returned from a lovely evening at King Do. We booked ahead and our table was ready when we arrived. The first thing that struck us was how friendly the staff were and as soon as we were sat down we were asked what drinks we?d like. We ordered some very reasonably priced wine and soon after our food order was taken. We had the mixed combination starter and it was spot on, everything on the plate was delicious! We asked the waiter for wait for ten minutes until the mains were brought out and were told no problem, just ask when you?d like the mains brought out. After we?d enjoyed a glass of wine we asked for our mains to be brought out and in no time at all they appeared. We had beef with green pepper and black bean sauce, kung po chicken, fried rice and soft noodles with bean sprouts. I asked for no ginger in the noodles and this wasn?t a problem. The food, it has to be said, was outstanding. The kung po chicken was particularly nice so I?d recommend that for sure. All in all I?d say King Do is possibly my favourite Chinese restaurant in Liverpool and I?d heartily recommend it ?

WHERE DO I START ??? firstly the only reason we have returned to this establishment for years is because the chef produces beautiful food ??.. HOWEVER IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE YOUR AN INCONVENIENCE THEN FEEL FREE ??.. WE HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TREATED ANY OTHER WAY THAN ABHORRENT !!!!! HONESTLY THE RUDEST OWNERS/MEMBERS OF STAFF WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!! HOW THEY REMAIN OPEN IS A MYSTERY!!!!!!! HOW CAN YOU TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE AN INCONVENIENCE??!!!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE?VE EVER EVER RECEIVED IN ANY RESTAURANT IN LIVERPOOL OR ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD FOR THAT MATTER THAT WE?VE EVER BEEN TO ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ATTITUDE FROM EVERY MEMBER OF STAFF TONIGHT WAS THE FINAL STRAW !!!!!!! WE?VE PUT UP WITH THEIR VILE RUDE IGNORANT NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR YEARS AS WE LIKED THE FOOD - BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH NOT LINING THEIR POCKETS WITH A PENNY MORE !!! WE WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN WELL DONE KING DO FAMILY ???????? YOUVE SUCCESSFULLY LOST LOYAL CUSTOMERS THROUGH YOUR ARROGANT ATTITUDE. WHY ANYONE GOES HERE & PUTS UP WITH THEIR HORRIBLE ATTITUDE IS BEYOND ME !!!!!

Food ok, though overpriced and some items looking like food bought bulk from Costco (£7 for a few spring rolls, Costco sell 40 for £10!), a few mixups with the order and what arrived at the table, only one of the staff seemed to want to try and help at the tables, rest of the staff just sat off to the side of the main entrance and appeared to not really be bothered about providing any service, ( not really a good way to encourage return customers). Would I go again? Nope

Have been before food was excellent. This time food was very bland chicken was not cooked. Fish and chips the fish was overcooked and the fish was in breadcrumbs. I would not recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of restaurants in Woolton Village to pick from. Give this one a miss.

Very upset, to be honest, I've had some great takeaways from this establishment before, but tonight I ordered a duck dish which when I got home had about two teaspoons is orange sauce within the meal, I phoned and he was adamant to the point of calling me a liar that their was sace within, he said I will refund so I walked back to be greeted with a huge hurry and the words go on several occasions, obviously think they never wrong and the customer is.. hugely disappointed

Very expensive. The restaurant is extremely cold so we actually put our coats back on. The food is nice however the staff are very serious and unfriendly.There isn?t any parking onsite so you have to park along the main road and walk a few minutes.

Our waiter was lovely couldn?t fault him, but would be the last time eating there. No baby change facilities, my partner had to change out 7 week old baby on the changing mat on top of the males toilets which are small at the best of times.
