I had a very disappointing experience at the JD store in Liverpool. The customer service is extremely poor ? when you ask for help with sizes or colours, no one makes the effort to assist you. Instead, they simply tell you to order online. The staff seem more interested in talking amongst themselves than helping customers, which comes across as very unprofessional.
Another frustrating issue is the pricing. The prices on the shelves often don?t match the prices online. Sometimes there are discounts online that are not updated in-store, so when you go to the till you end up paying less than the price shown. This creates confusion and shows a lack of care in maintaining the store properly.
Overall, the service and professionalism in this store have declined badly. JD really needs to improve staff training and customer focus, otherwise the shopping experience will keep getting worse.

Whenever I visit Liverpool I always manage to find some new sports clothes for myself in this store.great range of suppliers at reasonable prices.

Dear [Store Name/Customer Service Team],
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had while attempting to return an item at your store.
Less than 24 hours ago, I purchased a pack of boxers, which I did not open. At the time of purchase, I specifically asked the employee at the counter about your return policy. She clearly told me I had 20 days to return the item.
However, when I returned to the store the next day to return the product, I was told the return was not acceptable. I explained that the employee had told me I had 20 days, but I was then referred to the store manager, Mr. Morgan Chueg.
Unfortunately, Mr. Chueg repeatedly responded in a robotic and dismissive tone, saying, ?It is not acceptable to return. It is written on the receipt.? He offered no understanding or flexibility, and instead of addressing the miscommunication caused by your employee, he put all the responsibility on me as the customer.
I found his attitude to be very unprofessional and unhelpful. At no point did he acknowledge that staff giving out incorrect information should be addressed or apologized for. I believe a customer should not be blamed for following instructions given by your own employee.
I hope you take this matter seriously and follow up internally to ensure your team provides clear, accurate information to customers?and that managers handle concerns with respect and accountability.
I would appreciate a response and some resolution to this situation.

Placed an order on click and collect,order was gift for grandchild who lives 80+ miles away,completed their form that says if you can?t collect yourself give name of person collecting,Person went to collect with copy confirmation email,order invoice,and confirmation txt and their photo ID got refused as they didn?t have my photo ID so offered to send it in via email or photo and no I have to give the physical copy which had I been there to give it I could have collected myself kind of defeats the object,got a full refund no problem but also got a disappointed grandchild ,have ordered same product £10 cheaper from another site so buyer beware it?s not a simple process

The volume of music in the shop is ridiculous - tried to look for trainers with my son, and it felt like we were having to shout to hear each other. I imagine it's not a problem for a lot of people judging by how popular the place seems, but it's definitely not for me.

Not the best experience overall, but Toby saved the day! I can?t say I was impressed with the service at JD in Liverpool. The staff were generally very slow with everything and at one point, they even gave my trainers to another customer by mistake while I was waiting at the till to pay. It was frustrating and not what you?d expect from a well-known store.
However, what truly turned things around was the help I received from Toby in the menswear section. He really made up for the earlier inconvenience and left me with a positive impression in the end. Thank you, Toby!
