if HSBC LORD ST no longer has people going to there high street branches then why close the main one for two weeks for refurbishment ? Also why are NOmachines working on the outside. VeryPoor service. Perhaps this is another ploy to get rid of cash machines in thisBranch and get you to go on line banking. Finally HSBC need to make smaller you balance on machines asAnybody behind you can clearly see how much you have in your account.

I phoned HSBC to try and chase a Cheque for £600 that had been cashed last year (not by me) I needed to know where it had been cashed as another cheque cannot be given till I find out which bank the cheque was cashed inIt is ridiculous that because I?m not a HSBC customer they can?t chase the cheque but if I go into a branch they will help. I don?t know why he couldn?t have typed the cheque number and done a search for meThis has been going on since last year

Not a review on the staff here but the company as a whole. My account was restricted a week before Christmas because my mum sent me money for Christmas, flagging it as suspicious and therefore apparently a mother sending her son money at Christmas is ?fraud?. I am missing 2 weeks wages, £610 down a week before Christmas is abysmal, i went into the branch 5 times in the space of a week to withdraw my wages as cash which even under investigation are legally allowed and still nothing due to the fraud team, call centre and branch having 0 consistency and communication. My mum is disabled and my little brother has autism so my income helps out a lot in our household, being this down on money at this time of year has hit us hard. Should feel ashamed of yourselves as it is disgusting what you have done and impacted on my family.

Staff are so careless and dismissive. They just want to get rid of you as a customer at any cost!

A good friend of mine went to the branch to register a power of attorney but was told all staff were fully committed that day however if he called back the following day (Friday 19.08.22 or on Monday 22.08.22) he would be seen without an appointment. The process of registering the POA only takes a little time. He returned on the Monday morning but was told by a different employee "all staff are fully committed today". Very poor customer service by HSBC.

My experience with the bank hasn't been satisfactory at all. When I rang to speak to someone, the System asked me to enter my Financial access number which presumably is the IBAN. However since IBAN has many alphabets, it wasn't possible to enter these with the help of either the landline or the mobile. The only answer I got was that the bank doesn't recognize these numbers and had cut off even giving me the option to speak to someone. In my view this is a very poor public relation which is offered by the bank and this must be urgently overhauled.

Used this branch a few times. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful.Just wish they were open longer - but this isn't the fault of the branch.
