“Great little shop where you end up buying far more things than you actually needed but saving a fortune. Lots of branded items that are cheaper than the main supermarkets. Well worth a visit for your household essentials.”

“I love Home Bargains as a store full stop. The staff who work there are great, always completely willing to help out whenever you need a hand, such as to get a product off the top shelf that you can't reach. At one point I was in this store back during the lock down with my mum, and one of the male cashiers was especially good with us both. He allowed us to move 2 packs of loo roll we were getting to by the side of the till, so that more products could come through, meaning packing them was easier for us. He also at one point got up from his seat, opened up the next cashier till and pulled the cashier chair out, so that my mum could sit down. This was a real help to her, because her back was hurting, because she has fibromyalgia. It also helped me a lot, since I had difficulty understanding the social distancing at the time, because I'm on the autistic spectrum. I later sent an e-mail passing on a message of thanks, and I received one back, thanking me for the message, and explaining that staff receive bonuses for outstanding customer care (which in my mind, he 100% fully deserved). Also, the range of products on sale are both fantastic, and at a great price too, both those sold year round e.g. washing up liquid, and seasonal stuff, such as special chocolates for valentine's day, Christmas and Easter. There are 2 issues with this branch though. Since the entrance is right in the middle of the block in the road, access can be difficult. (Since the branch is literally just around the corner from the GP surgery that my family goes to, I usually only go there after I've either had a medical appointment, or after I've needed to put a prescription request though.) Whenever my mum and I go in she always has to park a little way away, and then we walk up. Also, like with any other branch of Home Bargains, it's one of the worst shops to go into when you only need a few bits and pieces, and you then end up coming out with a lot more due to the great deals. If I had a million pounds every day of my life to spend however I wanted, I would still shop here.”

“Needed new bedding. You need to look around the shop as expensive bedding is as you walk in, cheaper and just as nice bedding is further in the store. Got a lovely double quilt cover for £20. Just be aware you can't return any bedding once you've opened it”

“Primark is pretty similar wherever you go throughout the country, although this one is particularly big. It has four floors, i think, yet three of the four are for women.”

“Clothes are nice, if you are Twiggy! There was a sale on today so it took 40mins to get served with just 2 tills running. One fine person decided to return half a dozen items which didn't help matters.”
