I was rudely approached today by the store manager Jan whilst shopping with my 3 children and embarrassed in the middle of the shop for using my own bag instead of a basket. She confronted me with a basket and demanded that I used it and I explained that I was going straight to the till so there was no need to. ( I had forgot change for a trolley)
I had noticed a couple of members of staff following and watching me but I thought I was being paranoid.
I have no problem with using a basket, my problem was the way it was dealt with and her customer approach leaves a lot to be desired.
It had been a manager watching me so it begs the question why he had to get the store manager to come and tell me I had to use a basket.
I am a local and a regular customer and was made to feel ashamed and humiliated.

Never had a problem with this store but the balloon service is poor. Would recommend the card factory instead. I just bought a balloon to be blown up and the lady asked me to come back as it will take a while. I came back 25 mins later and it was still behind the till not blown up. Not the best customer service
