Solo trip to Liverpool for business. Bar staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. Ordered the ?Scouse? - arrived after 15 minutes. The dish itself was delicious, however only one piece of meat. No beetroot and warm crusty bread was two slices of bread and butter. Drinks standard. Nice pub, let down by the food, which could have been exceptional if to the advertised specification and with more meat.

Wanted something to eat before heading home and had a lovely Sunday roast (chicken) and partner had hunters chicken. The meals were nice - hot, well presented and good value for money and a lovely selection of veg with the roast dinner. We enjoyed the great music as well as the air con - blistering hot day outside! Staff behind the bar were very ftiendly and welcoming and we would go back again.

We visited Harrison?s for a spontaneous Sunday Lunch after spending the weekend in Liverpool. It was a well needed meal before our commute home. Sunday lunches were great, fab choice on the menu & different sports throughout the venue on the screens.

Popped into Harrison's for a quiet dinner and a drink during our stay in Liverpool. The place was very clean and the staff as friendly as could be. Nice music playing but not too loud so we could have a conversation. Large t.v. screens showing all the football games and highlights. I had the scouse and it was perfect - warm, filling and made with fresh ingredients. They had some nice Beatles decorations inside (not too much, not too little) and my daughter, a George Harrison fan, liked seeing the George Harrison portrait on the front gate the next morning as we were walking by. Don't pass this one by and give Harrison's a try!

Do not eat here. To say the food was Wetherspoons standard is an insult to Wetherspoons. It was dog food at best. But that wasn?t the main problem, the service was atrocious. I ordered 4 starters and 8 main courses at 1915h. The starters came 10 minutes later. Which was ok. The first two mains came out at 1940h, 4 more at 2000h, another one at 2020h and the last one at 2040h. To make matters worse, three other couples who arrived after us, all had their meals and left before our last meal came out. This place is run by muppets who haven?t the intelligence to use a brush, never mind trying to take an order, cook and serve food. Fortunately for them I had to pre pay, otherwise I?d have left after the starter and paid nothing. Worst service I?ve ever experienced anywhere.

Staff were nice nut the food was diabolical and poor value for money especially the loaded chips which had no sauce or cheese, the onion rings never had the dip and was told it had run out which explains why the chips were bare, great music, nice staff and good drink but do not eat here.

We were visiting Liverpool for the night and passed Harrison's on the way to the hotel. It was playing Fools Gold by The Stone Roses and advertising live sports, so we thought it looked like the perfect place to begin our day out. Whilst it wasn't the sole reason for our bank holiday jaunt, we were first looking for somewhere to watch the end-of-season clash between Everton and Bournemouth - a vital game because defeat (or even a draw if Leicester were to win their game, played simultaneously) would have resulted in relegation. While watching the game in Liverpool can be a nightmare in the wrong pub, we thought "Hey, George Harrison had no interest in football and no allegiance to either Everton or Liverpool football clubs, this is fine". Whilst it was quite busy in there, and finding an available spot at the bar to get served was tricky (people who sit or stand at the bar are literally the worst, right?), the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. Plenty of TVs were dotted around the place, so it was easy to get a good view in advance of the game (even though alternate TVs were showing Formula 1, the least entertaining sport to grace a pub TV in the history of humanity - except for golf). Once the Everton game started it was a nervy affair, not helped when Leicester scored about half an hour in. Unbeknownst to us, there was a pocket of "Leicester" fans (sat in front of a replica Champion's League trophy with red ribbons on it) in the corner who celebrated loudly when news came in that they had scored in their game. What are the odds of die-hard "Leicester" fans being in Liverpool on that very day? They must have been "Leicester" fans for a lifetime as it clearly meant a lot to them. Plus, imagine cheering for a club you don't support! Ludicrous! At half time, with Everton ensconced in the relegation zone as things stood, loud music started playing again. I'm not sure it was intentional, but it was Paul Johnson's Get Get Down (1999), with its refrain of " down, down, down, down, down". Not really a fan of House Music, but I do love The Beatles so I was chuffed when "Don't Let Me Down" (1969) started playing next. Unfortunate coincidence with the word "down" in both songs' titles considering Everton's predicament LOL. Anyway, the loud music must have rattled some wires loose in the Sky box, because they were unable to show the second half. Luckily they didn't panic. Literally - no one working there looked remotely arsed. They must have been confident Abdoulaye Doucoure would come up with the goods in or around the 57th minute. But unfortunately, I didn't share their confidence, so my friends and I had to leave to go to the reasonably priced William Gladstone over the road where we would eat and drink merrily for the next few hours. If I was a more suspicious man with better critical thinking skills, I might have suspected we were in a "Red" pub and that it was an intentional act of sabotage, but I'm far too trusting for that (in hindsight, I am wondering if maybe the place was named in memory of former Liverpool striker Wayne Harrison instead?). Would recommend it on a non-matchday.

Can't comment on the rooms as we just stopped for some drinks. The bar was really nice, great atmosphere, friendly staff and good music.

We called into this pub for an after dinner drink just after 9 o?clock. I had a large glass of Pinot Grigio and my partner had a pint of Guinness. Much to our surprise, last orders were called at 9:25. At 9:45 the music went off, and the lights went on. We left half of our drinks on the table and left as we were made to feel so uncomfortable.
