They seemed to think a King bed was two singles pushed together with two single duvets? They did swap our room to a double. For a Beatles themed hotel the rooms just have a picture of a Beatle in them. The rest of the room is like a dated Travelodge. Needs a refurb.

Last Monday, I had the opportunity to visit this hotel. As soon as I arrived, a warm and friendly staff welcomed me with exceptional customer service. The receptionist on duty, Mahmoud, was incredibly attentive to my needs and ensured that my check-in experience was delightful. To top it off, he kindly offered me a complimentary upgrade to a higher room category. Upon entering the room, I was thoroughly impressed by the spotless cleanliness and modern amenities provided. Its prime location near various tourist places, shopping center restaurants, and convenient access to transportation made my stay even more enjoyable than expected. Overall, this hotel exceeded all of my expectations in terms of convenience, comfort, and quality.I would enthusiastically recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a truly satisfying and wonderful stay in Liverpool.

Excellent! Great location, room spacious and clean, the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was at the back of the building and was very quiet, we didn?t have a view of anything but was out most of the day. We didn?t try the food in the hotel, there is just so much choice around the area. My only negative comment is a shortage of bar staff on a busy Saturday night, bar very busy with long wait times for drinks. Would recommend for location, room sizes and cleanliness

Few problems with my account, which we had to keep going to reception each day.Rooms ok TV didn't work, kept turning off.Bed uncomfortable was two singles pushed together, horrible flat well used pillows.Breakfast good choice, coffee great, cooked breakfast was cold, Blonde restaurant waitress never smiled at all, the waiter was lovely and friendly.First morning no bread, no glasses, no cups had to ask for it all.Really good info of the Beatles on walls.Wouldn't stay there again, due to all the above, and problem with them over charging me, which was stressful during our stay.

We had booked Afternoon Tea here on Saturday 10th Feb. The glass tables were dusty and smeared, they looked a real mess. My friend ordered bottle of Prosecco which arrived in an ice bucket but no glasses. The young man said he'd go and find some glasses. He came back 10mins later with 2 glasses as that was all he could find but he'd go and look for some more. Another 10mins later he returned with 2 more glasses. How can a hotel not have any glass flutes? We had to ask him to open the bottle for us.Our Afternoon tea arrived. The tea came in a bog standard everyday teapot and a very small siver teapot that held one cup of tea. The sugar was in sachets which were plonked on the table not even in pot. We had to ask for a jug of hot water to top the tea up. This came in a jug without a lid so didn't stay warm. The tea was very weak so we were given teabags to put into the pot. Again just handed to us so not hygienic. If you look at the Afternoon Tea menu there is a choice of teas.....we just had normal teabags. We had to ask for more sugar, serviettes and butter for the scones. The butter was the small foil packs. The cakes were so sweet they were almost inedible. We took the cakes home as they were paid for. Mine went in the bin! The cakes were supposed to be homemade but these were more like cheap shop bought ones. The scones were to uniform to be homemade and were not fresh , were covered in icing sugar and not warm as they usually are. At £19.95 per person it definitely wasn't good value. At £9.95 it would have been expensive. I've had much nicer teas with more variety on them and for less money. If I was the chef I'd have been ashamed to serve that afternoon tea. A member of staff Eric was very friendly but I think he overstepped the mark as he sat down with us for almost 30mins which meant we couldn't chat with each other. It was very annoying. It was our final get together as one of our friends is moving abroad this week. We didn't get a great chance to chat to each other as much as we wanted to.All in all I wouldn't return here and won't be recommending The Hotel to anyone. I certainly wouldn't recommend the Fternoon Tea as it wasnt value for money and looked liked it had been made using cheap ingredients.
