This branch is really bad.
I recently opened a new account online for one of my clients. He provided all the required evidence of his address, including a letter from the Home Office. However, the bank staff said this wasn't sufficient and requested a letter signed by his GP. I contacted customer services, who confirmed that the evidence my client provided should be enough. Despite this, the bank refused him again. When we asked to speak to the bank manager, yet he was also extremely rude and displayed racist behaviour towards my client. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope the bank's headquarters take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that all clients are treated with respect and dignity.

The only thing the staff can do well, is close early.
Absolute joke.

Possibly the worst branch of the quickest declining bank in the uk.
Been with Halifax for over 25 years but the state of the company and this joke of a branch being my local have left me no choice but to swap banks.

Rude and disinterested staff. Branch always looks filthy. I?ve been with Halifax for 30 years due to the previously excellent customer service.
However the local branch is not accessible due to opening times and this branch staff have no customer service skills. Will be moving banks .

Only given 1 star because 0 isn?t an option- I am absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service, care, and compassion shown to my father-in-law yesterday when he visited the branch to enquire about his mobile banking. The staff clearly lack any kind of proper training, and the customer service advisor, Adam, is in dire need of dismissal.
Adam treated my father-in-law, an older gentleman, as if he were a piece of dirt on his shoe. He made him feel insignificant and small, showing not one bit of understanding or compassion. I can't help but wonder if Adam would speak or treat someone his own age in the same disgraceful manner.
Halifax, it's evident that serious staff training is urgently required. Moreover, our complaints need to be taken seriously. No one should have to endure such disrespect and mistreatment, especially not from a service meant to assist and support its customers. I strongly suggest you watch your CCTV back of the time my father-in-law was in your branch and see for yourself how poorly he was treated by Adam.

Only one person on the counter Monday morning handling large cash deposits gbp and foreign and multiple people queuing to do so. One person dealing with cash in the centre of a large commercial city. Told ?we don?t accept foreign currency? Yes you do if I bought it from you.

Always a long queue & staff very unpleasant, attitude is awful. I?ll change all my banking now away from them! Nationwide are so much better.

We went in to enquire about changing a single current account into a joint. The lady was adamant it could not be done, even though I told her the Halifax website said differently. She asked her rude manager who confirmed what she said and wouldn't give us any eye contact, before he rushed off again. I suggested we look somewhere else to Bank and she agreed! The next day Halifax Wallasey confirmed it was possible and had us booked in to get it sorted. Up your game Halifax Liverpool, giving false advice to customers, no eye contact and suggesting banking elsewhere is pretty poor.
