Called into aintree store today greeted by a wonderful friendly and helpful young lady, who then proceeded to change bulbs in my car helped by another helpful young man great service made me feel valued thanks guys

Worst company ever, took in with knocking sound about 6 months ago picked car up was told repair done but they had done tracking too which I didn't ask for and wasn't asked if wanted them to do it, drove car away from garage and as got on main run the car immediately pulled to left and near hit another vehicle. Took it straight back and told them the knocking was still thier and the car was dangerously pulling over. The repair cost me roughly £8 to £900. The car was rebooted and was told it was fixed again but no different so again took it back this went on and on and they said couldn't find the problem of clicking so obvious question was if I took in for knocking and wasn't repaired what did I pay for. That manager got finished or moved and brought new manager in. He had car stripped down and said the work that they said had been done hadn't and showed me 2 springs or something and said they have just replaced these but still click to which he said its probably cv joints, id already told them this originally so I'd paid £ 900 or thier abouts for work that didn't need doing. It wasn't hinted the previous manager and assistant both no longer at store were putting parts on by trial n error to see if that would sort problem, anyway, I asked is this car going to pass mot with what they had done and was told no reason why it shouldn't. Now some will say we'll at least you got new parts but what's the point of removing parts that didn't need repairing and costing unnecessary money.
Well the mot had booked well in advance. 3 day before mot ran out. The day before mot recieved reminder txt for mot, the day of mot recieved another reminder to arrive 10 min before then 1 hr after first txt recieved a txt to say mot cancelled, phoned and asked why and guy who does mot went home ill, I rebooked for following day, that got cancelled too and said couldn't fit me in until after xmas even though mot was up in 2 days. They ended up getting me an appointment 30 min away which was helpful but inconvenient as was way out of my area. The car failed mot after paying out for all this work so took to local garage to do repairs, I called halfords to rebook for the mot u get free if it fails, again they couldn't fit me in because their mot guy off it would be after xmas but possibly get me at formby again. I ended up at that point not to bother with the retest and paid the garage who was doing work to do mot. I've wiped my hands with halfords wouldn't trust them to inflate tyre, they are expensive and unprofessional and for a big company they should have more than 1 person doing mots. My daughter also took her car in just before mine and her work wasn't done properly which they admitted to and blamed previous mechanic but still charged her more to correct problem.

Just went to change wiper blades. 45 mins wait, I choose to buy wiper alone and once got home realised it has three different types of clips. Went back to store to return instead they put on the right clip but can't stick it on to my car as I have not paid. I have said I am happy to pay but they keep saying. You have to pay like I am trying to skip it. Now I have wiper which doesn't go to my car and they can't put it on a inahve not paid for the service.

I had two 477 and two 501 bulbs fitted by Halfords at the same time. They barely provide any light at all and I have to use the side lights as well in order to see anything. I'm not sure which brand I was using previously but these bulbs provide a fraction of the light of the previous bulbs.

Called in to seek assistance as the car seat I purchased from aintree had no instructions and also the original demo I sought was lost due to the fact the store never advised me the seat was In store for me to collect . I would have given 1 star but Rob gave 5 star service in assisting me with a demo . So this review is solely for Rob not his employer.

Absolutely shocking service. Booked front and rear dash cam to be fitted. First booking was cancelled and moved to next available Saturday 3 weeks later. Arrived for our 9am appointment to be informed it wad cancelled due to trains cancellation and staffing. Surely when they knew there was an issue we could have been infirmed to prevent a wasted journey?
Customer service is disappointing to the point of being some of the worst experienced; from when we booked till we turned up for the fitting. On first impression staff appear uninterested and do not go out of their way to provide any sort of positive consumer experience, lacking any communication skills or understanding of the inconvenience caused. A simple apology and empathy towards the situation eould have gone a long way to reaching a solution other than us cancelling the purchase and booking.
Unfortunately, we are unlikely to shop at the Aintree branch again.
