Just had Sunday lunch with my wife at Bread street
What can I say the staff are very welcoming and friendly I had fish bites for starter well very very good hot fist nice and flaky
Then we both had the roast beef very good cooked nice and rear as I like it I like to thank you to the chefs
Very very much recommended this restaurant for Sunday lunch

Fabulous place, 1st class service and delicious food. Dark chocolate ice cream the bargain of the century at £2.50 a scoop, next time I am having 4 scoops!

Food was genuinely good, but the service completely ruined the experience. We were charged £9 for sauce - tiny portions at that - without any mention on the menu or from staff. When we questioned it, the manager was defensive, dismissive, and bizarrely claimed ?all restaurants charge extra? and that ?people get offended by transparency.? No apology, just rudeness, side-eyeing, and condescension. They begrudgingly removed two charges but still made us pay for one.
Reading other reviews, poor service seems to be a consistent theme. Sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Good food doesn?t excuse arrogance and hidden charges, and we definitely do NOT recommend this restaurant unless you want your day ruined.

Legendary Restaurant in the heart of Liverpool
This is the iconic restaurant of the most famous British chef in the kingdom. We sampled his cuisine in a few places now and always enjoy it.
The food was fabulous but also the service, I thought they had actually done a great job.
We enjoyed everything here so can only highly recommend it.

A lot of very loud children made for a challenging quiet dinner.

Food was poor for the price got bangers and mash didn?t even come with veg and couldn?t even order as a side. Which either way for the price you?d expect atleast couple peas on the side. Partner got half rack ribs which paid £18 pound for and they didn?t even come with chips literally just ribs and tiny side salad. Service was also not what I expected, waiters weren?t rude or anything but could have been a bit more welcoming. Also asked for water expecting them to give us just a regular jug of water they came with a bottle of water which when we checked the bill it was £7. They could?ve atleast asked us did we want a jug of water or a £7 bottle of water? altogether anyways wouldn?t return for the price it wasn?t what I expected. Crazy to be honest

Amazing food, atmosphere and experience, the starters came very quick and theres a good selections of wines and cocktails. The Beef Wellington for 2 was perfect.
The staff went above and beyond to please us. They even brought us a dessert with Happy Anniversary written on the plate in chocolate.
