Always loved this shop. Excited to see a brighter shop but where's all the stock?
Used to have 100s of pop figures, board games, figures.
Its gone very mainstream and streamlined stock. Hopefully they dont do this to all their stores.

I absolutely love coming here! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and they never mind when I bring my puppy, Nala, along?which I really appreciate.
They?re also fantastic when it comes to Pokémon cards, always helpful and knowledgeable. It?s such a great place to visit, and I highly recommend it!

Well. This place used to be quite the exciting treasure trove years ago. When arriving in Bold St, after getting off the train, this would often be the first place to head for...
Honestly, now, it looks rundown from the outside. Inside, there is a wall of Funko Pops and then a small selection of carded figures. The back of the shop is all books and a small collection of latest edition comics. Then in the middle-right, it's just a random small collection of the sort of small items you might buy in a toy shop, more books to the right hand shelving and some t shirts and bags (at time of writing anyway, they might have moved things round a bit since).
We popped in before Christmas as I remember always buying a few things from here for one of my sons. My daughter is now the age where she likes film and pop culture collectibles - we were hoping to see some SpongeBob, Cobra Kai or The Office stuff. Perhaps even something Home Alone related (as it was Christmas, you know ...) Sadly no, we came away empty handed.
As I said, when the owner inevitably bounces back in defence, it used to be great but there's just not much to entice you in there anymore. Perhaps it's due to the onslaught of the power of the internet.
Unfortunate, but there you have it.
I wouldn't make a trip all the way to Liverpool just to visit this shop anyway. You'll be massively disappointed.

One of me mates recommended here, first time I'd been in a comic shop, and gotta say, I was not disappointed. Its great, bought a Spider-Man fig and Invincible Compendium. Coming again next week on me break, 10/10 shop, highly recommend ?

a place where even a meat lover can enjoy seafood. Each dish is incredibly fresh. Some dishes feel like fusion cuisine but they blend perfectly. Overall a good experience!
