I was unable to submit an online order for collection due to website technical issues and pop up messages stating the Wirral branch was closed all week, which kept defaulting to Liverpool One.I visited Liverpool One to ask them to honour the website rate, as per the advice of Ellie, Customer Services. Unfortunately, this was not the case, nor was there any advice that proof of identity is required when ordering online.Although a fairly recent addition to the Team, Laura could not have been more helpful. She also attempted to order online using my mobile phone and experienced the same IT issues, Wirral was not an option, irrespective of any of the available days. Had the order been processed, I would have had to return to Liverpool One with proof of identity.In her eagerness to resolve the issue, Laura telephoned Katie (?Katy), Manager, who used her discretion to honour an in branch transaction matched to the advertised online exchange rate.Dismayed with the initial website IT technical issues, I would only have awarded the minimum 1 star, and for misinformation from telephone Customer Service, 2 stars.However, based upon my first visit to branch, Laura's and Katie's (?Katy's) 5 star support and Customer Service, which was greatly appreciated, more than made up for the poor eurochange experience.A huge "thank you" to Laura and Katie (?Katy) for saving me another trip to eurochange.
