“Love this place but when I was at the checkout the lady called Anne told me there wasn't any carrier bags, I thought this a little peculiar and she gave me a black bin bag instead (and charged me £0.45)as I don't drive it was very awkward carrying my shopping in a bin liner to the train station, I won't be going back there any time soon ?”

“Went to buy paint. I suffer with breathing issues and find it hard walking around looking for items.
A staff member called Olivia helped me with everything I needed and gave some very good advice about the paints.
She took the time to take my items out to my waiting taxi and load them all in the boot.
Olivia is very good at what she does and I hope she gets a nice shout out at the next morning meeting”

“Not sure why tradpoint has popped up on the title but it's good old B &QTop top Mark's for the customer service help .Thank you young man ( Sha I think) I would have struggled due to the weight of the stuff I was getting, he was outstanding .Even help me to my van with all the heavy cement stone etc. This is the second time I have experienced outstanding service in this store. Last time I asked for help regards to cutting the 8 x 4 block boards up. Again another yound man that could not do enough to help .Its a joy to find this sort of service now days . It's a picture perfect image of what I remember as a ironmongers/DIY shop as a kid.I've been in here loads over the years - (how long has this been a DIY shop for? It seems like forever!) and they have never failed to have what I needed! So well stocked it's Incredible.The lads who work here are super knowledgeable and will point/advise you in the right direction if you're not sure about the right tool for the job.A proper community shop that's served/helped the people of Kirkby for decades ??”
