Cancelled my appointment only one other option explained I had to be seen on time as I had another appointment assures me I would, turned up, kept waiting past my appointment time so had to leave. Complete waste of time and I still need an appointment phone lines queues are at least 30 minutes all day

I have been a patient at Dinas lane MC for 20 years. Luckily for me I haven't needed to see a GP since 2019, but over the last few months multiple medical problems have needed medical attention. I was shocked that the GPs no longer see their patients face to face, they offer a phone consultation, at the discretion of the receptionists. My medical problems needed to be SEEN. There is absolutely no confidentiality at reception, so now everyone in the waiting room also knows all about my medical problems! They also lost a sample that was supposed to be sent off for analysis but it took them 4 weeks for them to realise they had lost it, and had never sent it off to the lab. They have also very conveniently lost a consultant letter who had asked for scans to be carried out and apparently I have no right to a print out of my blood test results!I see the CQC have given the practice a "good" rating, arguably this isn't the case. I will be providing a more detailed official complaint to the practice manager.

This used to be a fabulous medical centre,I have been registered here most of my life.., there used to be lovely, friendly staff, getting an appointment for whenever you wanted it was no problem.., However, you wouldn't believe how quickly it's degenerated into a useless, failed waste of space.. there's absolutely no consideration for patient's or service users, no matter how old, infirm or sick they are.. All the caring, helpful receptionists that worked there forever have been replaced with robo-staff from the rude school, they've evenre -decorated the place to make it feel cold, depressing, grim and unwelcoming..Don't bother trying to phone this place for anything, be prepared to wake up at 6.30am and to walk, in the rain, to the surgery for 7.30am at the latest, only to wait outside in a queue, in the rain, for another half an hour before the doors even open, all this and you're not even guaranteed to get to see a doctor..If you can, avoid this place like the plague, it WILL make you ill...Very sad..

Phoned up for repeat prescription for my mum went to pick it up from the chemist and wasn?t even what I asked for it was a completely different medication i went back to the doctors and they said ?oh don?t know what?s happened ?which I replied well neither do I because I never asked for that medication and was told it would be sorted the same day but what I want to know why the doctor prescribed the wrong meds and wasn?t what I asked for the receptionist was no help at all like it was my fault I have had load of trouble with this doctors but it?s the nearest if there was a minus 1 rating they would get it

It's impossible to get an appointment. Phone lines can't handle call volume you cash even book for the following day. The NHS app is deliberately limited too so you car even get an appointment that way either.What is the actual point of having a doctors of your can't get to see them

As a carer for two patients from this surgery I frequent have to ask for advice and help regarding their care. Have found all members of staff to be knowledgeable, very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Absoulte joke of a surgery can just about ger an appoint wirh the the amout of times ive been left with out my metntal health medication is a dusgrace the attitude fron the staff is a joke like they think there above eveyone els im going to be tryin to seek legal action against them as ths way ive been treatex comes under medical negligence

Just sat 3hrs on a mobile to make a appointment waited 20mins to get from each Que number is a joke was in number 5 waited 20 mins then to got to 4 the 3 ect 20 mins each time only to get to number 1 in the Que up pops a messages technical problems then cut of please try again later not even worth 1 star

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Disgusting service! How you're still open as a GP practice, I have no idea. You can't book a Doctor's Appointment in advance, you can only call on the day and book one on that day, which means every single person is fighting for the same appointments every day. The phone lines are always busy, ring out or they actually CUT OFF your call even if you get through and it rings. When you get through, there aren't any appointments left!! I was told to queue outside from 7:45am onwards to try and get one of these golden appointments which seem like stardust. What on Earth is this system you have in place?! It makes NO SENSE whatsoever. You're actually making more work for yourselves but I guess it must make you all feel like you're "doing something" and feel important. They're still operating the same system since the big C. (Move on already!) I've just signed up to a new Doctors as, God forbid, one day I'm pretty sure I will d!e trying to get through to book an appointment at this place. Do yourself a favour, join ANY other GP you can find apart from this one. They need closing down and quickly.

Excellent.Being a long serving suffer of Long Covid. The support from the practice has been great. Had no problem getting to see or via the phone help from Dr Russell and all the team at the practice.

If I could give zero stars I would. This practice has become a joke. Why bother redecorating the waiting room when no one barely gets in the place. If you phone you can't get through. If ya get through all appointments gone. Econsultations available, allegedly, for approx 3minutes at 8am. Only way to get to speak to a doctor is to queue outside from 745am and then you only get a phone consultation. Such poor service I have registered with another practice. And I suggest everyone else does the same so that they finally get the message and revert to pre covid procedures, like everyone else has.

I have just been to see my diabetic nurse her name is chloe she is so thorough in everything she does I can honestly say that she is very polite and understanding went through everything possible with me explaining why she was asking the questions I have never met such a lovley person thankyou chloe for answering my questions I asked you she is a credit to dinas lane medical center
