As others have mentioned with the anger issues, the manager is extremely rude.
Even worse, she will offer you a job at one of the Allerton franchises (Optimum Group franchise) under the instructions you hand in your notice, and then when you attend, they don't know who you are, and they claim the job is no longer available.
She was extraordinarily rude and abrasive when informing me of this error.
Do not give your money to a company (Optimum Group) that does not follow UK employment law

Rude asian staff. As a delivery driver I?m like a colleague however she doesn?t let me to use the toilet. I proved with my phone that I?m a driver but she was extremely discriminate. I will report to uber eats and deliveroo also. Never had same issue with any places?

Was served by a guy named james. Terrible service and drink was not what I asked for. Saw him sneeze on some poor old man?s roll, the man was so nice aswell and when he asked for a refund he shouted at him

This has to be one of the worst experiences if not the worst in Costa, A really rude manager I was sitting in the table inside I had my coffee from the counter and I had a bottle of water that I bought from outside, I had my water bottle in top of the table she came to me so rudely saying you can?t have stuff from outside, I said but I had my coffee from here, she said don?t argue with me or I will ask you to leave, how rude, never going back there again ?

I think I?ve been to over 30 Costa cafes over the course of my life and this is without a shadow of a doubt the worst one I?ve visited. The canopy above the main door is filthy and the outside has dirty chairs.The staff were miserable and I hate to type that but they truly were.The toilet which could only be accessed by a code was absolutely disgusting. It had clearly not been cleaned for a while.Absolutely shocking and a shame that an area like Mossley Hill has to put up with it on its doorstep.

Came in with my girlfriend to get a coffee and study James M was amazing he kept chatting to us as he cleaned about was talking about books we?ve read will come back

James M was amazing had a great time in store I kept on talking to him and he was chatting with me in between his cleaning found the perfect coffee place to read my books in he offered great book suggestions will be my regular place now that the staff has been sorted out

This has to be the worst costa coffee ive been to. The manager was so rude she obviously has anger problems . I watched as she spoke to her staff and i was appauled that she thinks she has the right to speak to people like that ? i think costa really need to have a look at who they employ to manage shops as some people have a real bad attitued . The shop was a mess tables wiped with dirty clothes ? WILL DEFINATLY NOT BE GOING BACK HERE !!!!

They dont open on time. On the door its posted 7.30 and you can clearly see the workers in but they dont whant to open till 8

I live virtually next to this costa along with a load of students who all work in customer service including myself. I never leave bad reviews because we all have bad days and I know what it?s like dealing with a customer service job. But I actually avoid this costa now because I?ve never met such insufferable, rude & miserable staff. I actually feel bad for one of the younger girls there as she seems lovely but the mixed raced lady in her 30?s/40?s and the woman with tattoos all over her neck look like they?ve been held at gun point and speak to you like it?s your fault they work there. If you don?t like your job, leave.
