I have had constant inconsistency with Pilch lane coop with Uber orders.
I know the drivers collect the order, I?m sure they don?t do the shopping!
I?m in a wheelchair and rely on exterior help.
Yesterday, my order was down a 2lr Diet Pepsi and they sent toilet roll instead of kitchen roll. I decided not to follow this up as I was exasperated by this point.
Today I ordered produce and the tobacco wasn?t sent. Costing over £27.00.
Refunds via Uber take days so under the consumer credit act and the sale of goods act I find this reprehensible given I use these services as I?m disabled.
I spoke to the rather unhelpful member of staff who seemed to think that the Uber drivers were responsible for the packing of the goods?!?? I think it?s absolutely abysmal given they get £3.09 service fee to not pack properly and provide that actual service!
I am really upset and rarely leave negative reviews, unless it?s a wholly negative experience!
Given I use coop at least 5 plus times a week!
I?d rather starve than use them again!
If there was a zero star option I?d have done that.
I?m sure it?s the staff , not Uber , responsible for the shopping part, as far as I?m aware they(Uber) just collect and deliver the goods.
I?m now down £27.00 and will not have closure in this for probably a week!
Really dissatisfied and think I should have been acknowledged and had my correct order rectified.

Very handy store. Staff pleasant in the main. Let down by the general litter outside. All the Pilch Lane shops are surrounded by rubbish. No attempt by the store holders to tidy. Hard pressed Council unable to manage this appalling situation. Sad reflection on the way it seems acceptable to put up with poor standards nowadays. In addition car drivers park where they feel like, oblvious to any safety considerations for others. Self entitlement manifests big time outside the Co-op.

Great co,op with a big selection of food items for a small shop. Also ATM inside, which doesn't charge you for with drawing. ?

Been coming in this shop for years. Had to prise the automatic door open 10 mins before closing time. Was only buying a pizza and a drink and they were doing the till counts already!! No eye contact off any of the 3 behind the tills and I don't know whether one of them was on about me but I heard her say "Always one isn't there". Be better Pilch Lane Co-op!!

Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. I can't fault them!! 5 stats from my experience in the store.

Agree with previous posts re staffing levels. Always liked the shop but where have all the old staff gone?Saturday morning 9.30 ONE person on tills 12 customers in queue!
