I am not one to review in general, but I have decided to make an exception as the waiter was incredibly rude to my mum on three occasions within a short span of time before we even finished the order. He talked down to my mum consistently from being seated and the final straw was when he interrupted her as she was ordering food to tell her how she should say the starter first and then the main for the pair of us; while my mum simply said we both wanted the same starter.
At this point I challenged him to see if he was looking to be awkward with her and his attitude completely changed and suddenly he was suffering from a language barrier when he had, to his credit up to that point, a strong comprehension of the English language. To prevent the situation escalating further, we simply finished our drinks and went to pay the bill; to the credit of the lady behind the bar she did not charge us for the drinks.
It is a shame to give such a low rating as I could see that the venue was well put together and the other staff seemed professional.

Awful. Pathetic service. Food allergies not taken into consideration even though the restaurant had prior notification. The wrongly prepared meal was charged for. One meal had been forgotten. We will NEVER visit again.

The food was ok imo but definitely had much better. Went on a Saturday around 5pm with no reservations he gave it a thought and squeezed us in. The pork souvlaki dinner description says it comes with a salad which i think was more of a garnish. I was expecting at least a garden salad. Great amount of meat but sides are a bit light. If this was fixed it?d be much better.

Absolutely disgusting arrogance and one the worst restaurants we've ever visited.
Christakis is over priced and hyped unfortunately.
Party of 15 and everyone had been served rubber reheated cheap meats,
Manager wasn't interested, no wonder they keep closing down all over Liverpool then reopening elsewhere!!
Inadequate dishes not worth the money when there's better restaurants around.
service was slow and not acceptable, I wonder hmrc have any idea what there up too??
companies house many folded restaurants under the same name I can only imagine it's the owner not paying his way towards business taxes?

Phoned to book for the mid week early evening menu, as advertised on the Internet. It's discontinued so heading for a cheap tea elsewhere.

Food was lovely but portion size has been reduced since our last visit which was a little disappointing :( The staff as usual were lovely and attentive so I can?t fault them there <3 The starter & main deal for £15 has been discontinued which would be okay if portion sizes remained the same but now it?s less food for a higher price. The atmosphere is very chill and comfortable for an early dinner :) Uncertain whether we?d return!

Great restaurant with friendly staff. Brilliant atmosphere, with an exceptional menu. Certainly recommend and hopefully plan to visit again when we return to Liverpool.

Had a meal at Christakis last night and can't fault it. We had the meat platter for 2 which was delicious and great value for money. The service was also great , with staff being attentive and friendly at all times. We will be back.
