Just had a really bad experience in CEX Belle vale. The lady with glasses on the desk was extremely rude to us. She gave us information fair enough we was not aware of what she told us. But we was not rude or unhappy with the information she provided. But can I just say that lady?s attitude was so patronising and disgusting I felt embarrassed as I with with my mum who just looked so upset for how she spoke to us. Then turned to the other girl and was like am I explaining that properly like we are stupid. Only thing is stupid is a human being who does not know how to speak to other human beings kindly.

I bought a ring chime. It arrived broken and not working. I sent it back for a refund they said they didn?t have any more to send as a replacement. I re-ordered another ring chime from Cex but after about a week that did not arrive. I was told it was found to be faulty so they decided to refund me, they said they didn?t have another one to send me as an exchange.
I then ordered a third ring chime from Cex, that is yet to arrive but it looks like it?s in transit. I don?t know why they lie and say that they don?t have any more in stock when clearly they do have them, and I?ve just waisted three weeks of my time m, their site has lots of them. It looks like they don?t test their stock, which is worrying.

Looks like good store but bad experience.
Tip: if selling, don't leave the shop before getting the test done and getting the voucher as most possibly you will have to go back again there as no way to call.
And take charger while selling as they would deduct money even if they never asked for charger!

The staffs amazing though some old xbox 360 fifa are only 15-17 it's amazing so I recommend going! BTW they have fifa street

They price things by popularity, not tech or retail.
I seen a guy in there spending ~£230 on a pre-owned, partially scratched Switch when I was there. You can literally go to (insert shop here) and pick up a brand new one for £215. I had to stop myself from telling the man cos his kids were clearly excited and I didn't wanna ruin someone's day.
CEX used to be the go-to place for pre-owned tech but not so much anymore. I don't know if they put too much into expansion or staff or what, maybe it's just greed, but the prices for PRE-OWNED things are wildly overinflated.
