I went into this branch of cex on 2/8 to trade in my xbox one s. The first 3 staff members that I interacted with were so lovely, helpful and accommodating even though the store was very busy. I don?t know the staff members names but they should be praised for their customer service. One was a dark haired woman with a mullet, another dark haired man with a beard and the final staff member was a fair haired man with glasses with a beard.
When I returned to the store on 3/8 to collect my payment for my trade in, the store was once again very busy. I was served by a woman with long dark hair and a black line work butterfly tattoo on her hand. She was incredibly rude, condescending and refused to repeat herself when I couldn?t hear her (I?m deaf, I have very limited hearing). When I asked for the game I left in my xbox back she rolled her eyes, sighed and said ?that I didn?t want it back?. I had clearly not heard her when she asked me. I ended up not getting the game back on account of her being very rude to the point in made me deeply uncomfortable. As far as I?m aware cex don?t take games that are unboxed so there was no reason for this woman not to give me my game disk back, I wasn?t attempting to trade that in.
I understand the woman might?ve had a bad day and potentially didn?t see my deaf badge but left the store feeling belittled, embarrassed and unwelcome.
I frequent this cex often, as it?s my local, before this I?ve never had a bad experience with this store, actually very positive ones the staff are normally incredibly lovely, welcoming and accommodating. But on this occasion, i?m extremely disappointed and let down with the way I was treated as a customer.

This Cex is not that bad and some staff can be helpful and good and I don?t normally have any issues with this Cex really and it?s better then central station 1 and also better then Crewe Cex where I got robbed in that Cex for no reason

i just went here today with a pair of gaming headset to sell and after testing one of the employees told me that the mic is not working properly, i tried to explain to him that the mic was not placed correctly but he was rude to me and was trying to make me leave, after i went to another CEX location (unit 9, central shopping center) and they tested it with the mic rightly positioned and everything was fine. Awful service from this one made me feel very bad and they were absolutely wrong they don?t care to test the products carefully.

Had to buy a voucher to order a game online, as the online shop wouldn't take non UK cards. The clerk then sold me a voucher that was short 5 pence of the actual product and delivery price, so I had to waste another 40 minutes of my life walking back to this store just to be told that there is a minimum voucher amount so I had to overpay just to get the 5 pence required to complete the order. Don't recommend. Will not be engaging with again.

Great service buying my yes man dvd. Cleaned the disk aswell and it was only £1. Didn't get the guys name but fantastic customer service

I was served today by the gentleman in a grey and black jumper. After I accidentally purchased a duplicate Christmas gift at a Scotland CeX and not having the receipt in person, he went out of his way to call up the CeX there and collect the necessary information to ensure I could get my refund. This was during a busy rush. Going out of his way to ensure each customer is given a great experience shows that customer service is at a great standard at this location. Thank you for the help :)
