Came for friend?s birthday celebrations, nothing short of wonderful.
Promptly seated, greeted and well catered to. Emma was our server on the evening, she was polite, hospitable and chatty.
Drinks were beautiful, well made and aesthetically pleasing.
Food was delicious, the ?Prawn and Chorizo Linguine? and ?Vanilla Creme Brûlée? were absolutely tantalising.
Even went out of their way to do a special touch for my friend?s birthdays - a beautiful Happy Birthday message written on a slate slab worh their dessert.
Look forward to coming back soon - thank you again. ??

We went here with three people for dinner. The service was friendly, the food and drinks came quickly to our table. Typical English dishes, I can recommend the fish and ships.

We came for food and drinks for mine and my mums birthday? our lovely waiter Gary surprised us with a dessert saying happy birthday. Brilliant service from Gary and such a lovely man

Delicious food, fab service, great cocktails. Tash, our waitress is a little gem. Gave us recommendations, and made our experience so much better than just lunch and drinks. There is a great selection on offer, you could find something without any problem. Lovely atmosphere, buzy place and I?m not surprised. Would highly recommend.

Never been to Browns before but we will definitely be returning! The service, we received and the cleanliness of the restaurant were amazing from the moment we entered to the moment we left! When we arrived at Browns as a party of 4 for lunch, Lacey the manager greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile and politely showed us to our table by the window which was perfect!! Once seated, Lacey promptly gave each member of our party a menu, offered us all some water and informed us who our server would be. Our water arrived along with our server Lee who introduced himself - again politely and with a smile. We ordered our drinks, as we were all driving, we all chose Pepsis which arrived promptly. Lee enquired about are dietary requirements which I thought was a great touch! We all decided on the 2 course lunch option; I ordered the steak frites followed by the second course of the apple pie!! All of the food was cooked to perfection and wow the apple pie was the best I?ve ever tasted! My 3 colleagues all agreed their food was 10/10 also! To say I was impressed is an understatement!! Special thanks must go to Lacey the manager and Lee our server on their fab customer service skills - nothing was too much trouble! I shall be coming back for another visit next week and I hope to sample some cocktails as the table next to ours was being served cherry bramble cocktails and they looked awesome!! Highly recommend Browns to anyone looking for somewhere to go for lunch with very reasonable prices especially for the city centre location. Thanks again ?

First time here - disappointed by food, lovely service & staff though.
We came for afternoon tea, which was very small portioned for the price. I wouldn?t mind if it was cheaper, but for £25pp you want at least a sandwich each. Most of it tasted very good, especially the desserts and scones. We spoke to staff regarding the complaint and they were very kind and willing to give us their time and rectify the problem. Natalia was our host, she was very friendly and kind and we are thankful. Wouldn?t visit again - overpriced for small portions.
