Just popped in for a little bite to eat and was sceptical with the reviews but in all honesty, I had a chicken burger which was amazing and well priced at £9.49 and £3.49 for a kids meal. Will go again.

Big lad behind the bar ,dusnt like ringing the bell for last orderdes cos he want to get off early ,, should he be in this job ? Loads off people got refused cos of his life style ??? Is this right , ?? I confronted him , cos off his big statue he thought id back down ,, so wrong , his badge will be getting ,reported ,, oh sorry i called him a dickhead cos he never rang the bell ,,, wudnt serve me or my mates ,, we were at a wake ,, great business for the blackhorse old swan

We went for a friend's birthday we had the roast dinner and it was really lovely we all had a great day Dave the chef is a brilliant cook and a friend who's birthday is next week wanted to go to the stag and rainbow for her birthday but after having such a lovely dinner has changed her mind and now wants to go back to the blackhorse for another roast

Bar staff are the rudest I have come across, tables filthy after being there a hour still wasn?t cleaned! Food was just awful! Chicken wings where so dry and the smallest things I have seen

Always wait so long for food hardly anyone in but food is an hour wait & have to ask for cutlery! Some staff are rude & miserable
