Rang them on Monday asking if they would take a cot and mattress (flame retardant label) they said yes they would. Got it down from the loft, loaded it into the car and drove to the Wavertree donation centre. Spoke to the ?blonde, middle-aged woman? and she refused to take it despite my telling here of the previous day?s phone call. She cited the reason ?We don?t know what donations we are getting in every day? So, apparently, they were swamped with donations in the space of 24 hours and couldn?t honour a phone commitment. Oh, and she was rude with a poor attitude to people wanting to donate. I think some of these people think that they are doing the donating public a favour, rather than the other way round!

What's the point of donations if they never take them,I have never seen such a huge donation centre but again they refuse to take stuff, and other charities are begging for donations, never again

I was shocked at the disgusting lack of customer service I recieved from the blonde middle aged woman today when visiting the store in Wavertree next to Icelands. MERRY CHRISTMAS GRINCH!!!As a disabled customer who visits regularly both purchasing and donating, OBVIOUSLY previous visits were when she must not have been working, I was very disappointed by how unhelpful and rude she behaved. What is worse is that I have just read previous similar reviews here about the same woman. Glad to know that Banardos does not read or take these reviews seriously. I will not be coming back.

I was shocked at the way the middle-aged, blonde haired woman spoke to other customers when I visited the store today. I heard her shouting at others loudly for taking something out of a package to take a closer look at an item. It was very rude and unnecessary - you could have politely asked them but instead you chose to humiliate and berate them. Another charity shop that is not currently accepting donations but everything in the store is overpriced - I really don't understand the logic. The total lack of customer service and the overpriced tat means I won't visit this store again.

I have dealt with this company and my experience is not good to say the least I bought 2 wardrobes from them 2 weeks ago and was delivered yesterday they dropped wardrobes of and dumped in dining room said they couldn't take upstairs as they were not insured to move furniture so why was they driving a van transportation of furniture the only thing I can conclude they didn't have insurance on van in first place are secondly they were just to bone idle to move them then my wife phones up and explained what had happened and was told that they didn't have to take upstairs the shop never explained the fact we'd have to move them our selves so we asked for a refund which we was told they'd have to pick them up first and put back in store before they could refund I'm left now with my dining room in a mess and no wardrobes upstairs and clothes in bin bags do not buy furniture if u can't move it your self these charities no one should buy furniture from them there attitude stinks and as for customer care zero staff rood nead retraining
