Would give 0 stars if it were an option. Terrible company, do not care about their clients only care about the money they get from them. As an ex employee I would strongly advise against trusting your relatives in the care of this company. Where to start? We are given an app on our phone to follow which has up to 30 calls a day. Our clients either have 30 minute calls or 1 hour, however we are forced to rush with clients and be done within 10-15 minutes, not having enough time to give the correct care or even to have a chat with our clients. Office staff and management tell us that we are not there to talk to the clients we are there to do what is needed and go. This really annoyed me as I love my clients and wanted to give them the best care I could but was unable to do that which is one of the reasons I left the company. Management do not are about client complaints about certain ?senior? staff as they are all friends and family. One particular member of senior staff we?ll just call her K, skipped some of her calls to a client who we visit to administer medication. As I visited the client I asked him why he had not been given his night meds he informed me that K had told him earlier she won?t be back for bed call therefore he hadn?t had his medication. Another client told me she did not like it when K attended to her as she would rush her too much and the client would be breathless trying to be quick, this client was a lovely lady who was very old and needed patience and time. Another client told me K rushed her about too and sometimes she didn?t even realise that she had left her home as she was too quick and went without saying goodbye sometimes leaving ovens and electrical equipment on. However office would not do anything about this as K is friends with them aswell as them all being friends and family. When working with office staff certain ones would also talk about their clients or how they couldn?t be bothered going to certain clients. Not all are like this, carers and myself love our clients and do the best we can for them and many of our clients feel the same toward us, it?s a shame that we can?t do more for them and that they are treated so poorly with senior staff. If you want great care for your relatives I would strongly recommend not joining this company, being with this company has put me off this job and throughout being with them I would be upset going home wishing I could do more for my clients. They are amazing people and I?m happy I could give them as much care as I could and they will forever hold a place in my heart. I hope they are treated well. Im glad they felt they could tell me and confide in me and another carer I worked with. I would recommend speaking to your relatives as most are scared to say anything they tell me as they don?t want to get people into trouble, please speak to them make sure they are happy. Do not join this company and do not trust them with your relatives. Also if that?s not enough, they also do not listen to complaints and if we see people doing wrong they do not sort out the matter instead they brush it off or fire the people who mentioned it. You can read the article yourself if you type in Liverpool echo adex care about a member of staff sexually touching a client and the carer who reported it got fired instead.

They may not be 100% but their staff are trained and really care, this has been the 4th care company I've used and are really good.

Adex have provided care for my mum over the last 5 month's. The care package provided is 5 star. The carers are so caring and friendly, they care for your wellbeing as a carer and my mum's care.I have not once in 5 month's since care package started had to call the company to ask for anything or report anything. The carers and the company work as a team. An early morning hospital appointment and the girls came at 6:30am. Yes that is dedication and commitment.

Adex have been responsible for caring for my mother who suffers from Alzheimer?s for the last 7 months. We have had numerous issues with them but gave them the benefit of the doubt due to a regular turn over of staff and hoped it would improve as things settled down. It never did and the staff turn over continued with no continuity in the carers who attended which was required in order to provide some comfort and reassurance for mum.I left a detailed note of requirements/needs and even emailed it to the office so it could be added to the carers mobile devices so they would know of mums needs due to the lack of continuity in the carers who attended. This was pretty much ignored, including the basics such as when her medication was required to be taken. There were occasions when her medication was given at the wrong time or not given at all. There were other issues such as the front door being left unlocked allowing mum to get out the house in her bed clothes, thankfully she was seen by a neighbour before any harm could come to her. There were times when it was clear a carer had not visited as mums medication had not been administered, yet no one called us to inform us of any issue. One carer fell asleep at home and failed to attend for the bedtime visit! There was an occasion when mum was clearly unwell yet the carer did not report this to us.On several occasions we called Adex to enquire who had allegedly called and the standard response would be ?sorry the computer is playing up at the moment can we get back to you? - and they never did! If we had any query we would not normally get a straight answer and would be told they would look into it and we would hear no more! If you leave an answer phone message requesting to be called back they never do. There were not issues with all of the carers as some were very good particularly Lynn who was a natural with mum and mum quickly formed a bond with her. Unfortunately more often than not the carer was not there long enough to form a bond as they would normally be in and out within 10-15 minutes, doing the basics and not having enough time to sit down and chat with mum. There was one occasion when a new very young carer arrived at mums with no identification and not wearing any clothing that would identify her as a carer, clearly mum panicked when a total stranger appeared in her living room and promptly asked her to leave. On several occasions mum would have three different carers visit her in one day who would be in and out quickly which only added to mums confusion. It was not all the carers fault as I was made aware that they were scheduled to visit numerous clients within that hour and on one occasion I noticed they were down to see three people at the same time, which is clearly impossible yet it is added to their mobile app/schedule and all they can do is rush from one client to another as quick as they can - which leaves no quality time to spend with an elderly person who may require a little company/conversation.On the days a family member was not available carers were scheduled to visit four times a day, sometimes they would call too early for teatime and then come back a short time later to get mum ready for bed way too early. The training for the new staff was pretty woeful as they would ?shadow? a main carer on a couple of occasions and then be left to get on with it on their own, clearly without any training in the needs of a person suffering from Alzheimer?s.Unfortunately I have no confidence in the company, the whole point of having carers was to take some of the stress and workload off the family members. However due to the numerous issues we could not relax safe in the knowledge mum was being looked after correctly, as in the majority of the time she was not. This is by no means a full list of the issues we have experienced over the last 7 months, i just wanted to provide some examples so anyone considering using Adex in the future would be able to make an informed decision. I could go on but have run out of space. I would not recommend Adex.

Brilliant family managed care centre. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the care of the elderly. Hard working staff & carers working on busy schedules.

Joke of a care company and certain "senior carers" will lie right to you about the care provided to cover up for their ineptitude, the office/manager is no better unfortunately.. If you care for your elderly relatives I would advise looking elsewhere
