Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the staff refusing a 3 year old girl access to use their toilet apparently the staff don?t know the code to open them the only way you can have the code is if you purchases something

I'm not comming to Costa often, maybe twice a year, but I'm not happy about my recent visit. Coffee and food as you would expect from Costa, but staff completely incompetent to work under pressure, remember orders or multitask, which is quite sad for such a nice place. 4 girls stressing around, spilling coffeys on the desk, customers waiting ages for their coffee as 4 girls cannot manage even 2 customers at the same time and can't remember an order for more than 10 seconds. I have been asked 3 times what I ordered even 10 minutes after I paid and that was just a croissant, lemon cake and late, three customers came after me been served before me, nothing for my level of patience. No smile, no politeness, no sorry, just stressed faces. Cannot recommend, otherwise the place is nice and clean.

Went and reserved a table for my Mum and Sister in the Costa in Kirkby, then when they came decided what to have along with a hot drink.

Great variety of beverages and such as you would expect, very well made too. Nice simple food options including toasties and small cakes.Friendly and approachable staff members inside of a very nice, peaceful building and very atmospheric in terms of its design.Parking: Parking about a minute or less walk away from the building.

I just didn?t enjoy our visit here. Fridge was almost empty at lunch time. No vegan or veggie products available or even toasted tea cakes.,. We asked and was informed no one asks for them. We did. The tables looked like they are never cleaned, stained with coffee and tea, food left spread on tables and floor. Don?t even get me started on the toilet! I think too much emphasis is given to phone or app orders too. They will have to get their act together before we go back especially as a new coffee place is soon opening.

I come here a lot and it is always the highlight of my day out. Today was lovely in particular and Emma was an amazing server who made me feel very welcomed.

Have just called there at 7:15pm Thursday with my wife and son. It said on the door it is open until 8pm Mon-Fri. The door way locked with a guy inside indicating that they were closed. I suspect this was a staff early dart! DISAPPOINTED! Trained staff should not be allowed to wind the business down because they want to be walking out the door dead on 8pm.
