staff were very friendly and attentive. had the chicken pie it was really nice. carol our server was very helpful and efficient. would recommend for an affordable meal out.

We had a great time coming for a Sunday meal with my family and partner. The food was lovely and the service was amazing. The salt and pepper calamari was really good and the roast dinners were gorgeous. Our server, Courtney, was very attentive, and had great banter with our table. Everyone was lovely and we hope to be back soon!

Got shown to table by a man at 6.25pm there were two waitresses walking around plus another girl in a very untidy shirt at the display screen .
We sat at our table the waitresses walked past us several times but were ignored. After sitting at our table for over 25 minutes I called a girl Courtney over who reluctantly took our order . By the time our food came out she had left and our food was brought out by Jacob who was really apologetic to us.
He out of all the staff was the one who couldn?t do more for us I thank him .he took £10 off our bill for the inconvenience I did thank him .
I think the waiting staff should take some tips off him in how to deal with customers like just don?t walk past and ignore them .

Stayed at the Premier Inn and took their meal deal option. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and tasted good. All the staff are nice and welcoming.

Disapointing. We would not recommend. We booked a table for 4 people for my mum and dads wedding anniversary then changed it to 5 people. We were told we couldnt go in the restaurant because they couldnt accomodate 5 people! and we were seated outside on a table on our own. No atmosphere, very grubby, old table. The restaurant was empty but they told us they were fully booked. We spoke to the Manager who was very abrupt and had a really bad attitude. We got up , out of our seats and left. We were all very disapointed as we were going to book for Christmas Lunch but we definatly wont be returning. Bad experience. I would not recomend the Derby Lodge.

Not good. I was served the wrong food. Which was very bad news for myself, because I have allergies and I'm a vegan. I was served a chicken tikka curry, not the Thai vegetable curry. Service is slow and very unprofessional.

Disappointing food quality, service - came here last November for family function and find there is no great improvement in the place. Staff were not helpful over menu items/questions about the food served, tables seemed dirty/tacky and seats have seen better days (customers who damaged them should have been made to pay for repairs to maintain visual impact in the dining areas). Won't be rushing back.
