Came for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! Best roast we?ve had! Would defo recommend! Staff all lovely, pub was clean and plenty of space to sit, inside and out. Big tv?s with sport on. Will be returning

We sat in the beer garden post dog walk. Nice chilled vibes, service was quick and friendly. Would be really nice on a summer evening to have a few drinks and relax.

Lovely secret garden at the back which I never knew about. Server very pleasant, but roast dinner was far too salty. Salt flakes on everything! Which is a shame as it's a nice place.

My husband and I had a meal here today and can honestly say the food was amazing and the service and atmosphere was outstanding. The Steak was one of the best I have tasted. We will definitely return.

The Ship inn hosted my husbands 40th birthday and from start to finish the service was outstanding. The food that was provided on the day was delicious and we had many compliments from the party guests. Would like to say a huge thank you to the team, particularly Jordanna, for being so accommodating and for making the day so special. Love that this is our local pub!

6 of us where there on Saturday 30th November 3 of us had prawn cocktail to start the prawns were very warm where they had been defrosted in hot water then served they should of been left in cold water to defrost my wife had fish and it was the darkest fish I have ever seen it was nearly black and rock hard she could even cut it we sent it back and got told that's how it is I had rack of ribs that was so dry it was untrue my daughter had a chicken burger that had been under a heater for hours it was hard and the other people's mains where not good.I think it's because the kitchens closed at 8.30 and we where in at 8.00 so half of are food was left overs and recooked. we have had really nice meal from here that's why we came back but to pay £200 for what we was served sorry we won't be going back at all

Service and food left a lot to be desired. Party of ten, forgot to starters, missed of half the roast dinners sides, food varied from cold to overcooked meat and forgot half the desserts for the children, not forgetting neglecting to deduct our deposit and having to refund this back to us.
