We just moved locally and decided to try out the Jug and Bottle for a change. We were really impressed, the food was divine and our waiter Euan was so friendly and polite. The Jug & Bottle is a traditional pub with rooms nestled away in the heart of Heswall on the Wirral peninsula. The bar has a buzzy feel to it and full of character with open fires and different cosy areas to hide away in. In the summer the large decking is the perfect sun trap.
The bar serves a great selection of local beers along with some cracking world wines from slightly further afield. The delicious homemade menu showcases some British classics as well as adding a unique twist to some dishes as well as exiting seasonal specials, all sourced as locally as possible.
The pub has nine en-suite guest bedrooms upstairs. The pub is within half an hour of both Liverpool & Chester and just 5 minutes off the M53.
