What a beautiful place! The staff here are so so lovely you made our day. Could not have been more helpful or welcoming - lovely cappuccino and toast and special sausages for my friend's dog! - Thank you all so much. Would recommend to anyone in the area. All the gold stars.

Ordered a couple of ribeye sizzling and double cheese bacon burger.
Sizzling not hot swimming in what looked like boiled onions ,lots of fluids my steak had no flavour it tasted like it had been boiled rather than fried , peas cold chips Luke warm . I left 3/4 of it very disappointed

But one get one free on a pretty decent burgers on Thursday, lovely and a pint of carling. My pal Connor got a steak an ale pie which he thoroughly enjoyed. He actually loudly exclaimed ?what a great pie this is ? PS - curry sauce on the chicken strips was to die for

I was so disappointed with the roast dinner on Sunday, everything was warmed up, roasties were white, Yorkshire pudding wasn?t crispy at all(warmed up) would not recommend sorry

Went in today (2/3/25). Our food was really good. Ordered the Millionaire burger and scampi. Everything was hot and the service was spot on. Pub was relatively quiet at the time but had a lot of bookings later in the afternoon. Cracking pub.

Go there every Monday afternoon to play Mah Jong. Staff always very pleasant and welcoming. Nice atmosphere. Had a Xmas lunch there with my group - and very nice it was too! Would definitely recommend.

1st time for us but won't be returning. 2 mains for £13 something, a great price but awful fish an the scampi was scampi bites.
Cheap food but expensive drinks an a disappointing interior no sign of the windmill!
