We have been going there for years frequently with my well behaved dog . Yesterday we were refused entrance and were told that it is not a dog friendly place. The man was quite abrupt to us and we were showen the door. We used to love going there and everyone so friendly.

The shop itself is quite nice. However, the staff are incompetent. They ignored me while they talked about their personal lives for a good few minutes then served someone else who was behind me in the cue. I didn't say anything as no doubt they would get offended if I brought it to their attention.
I eventually received my order and it was the incorrect drink and side.
I won't be visiting again.

Always love Costa but especially like this one because Heswall is a beautiful village.

Been here a couple of times, service is very good, food and coffee maintain the costa standards. Special commendation to staff Linda for being efficient, accomodating, jolly and energetic! We need someone like her to start our day with good vibes and good coffee

Just clear the dirty tables please. Not much to ask when you have lots of staff on.

My father and I had parked in the Linghams car park. We were going to choose Linghams but farther preferred Costa.
As he went off to exchange money from the bank across the road.
I went in to get our drinks.
Inside I chose my orders and waited in the queue. On the front till I saw the sign stating that just because something maybe vegan friendly does not mean it?s okay for people with severe allergies.
It also explained that there maybe a risk of cross contamination, something that is so common that it?s just respectable to accept it.
Ahead of me I observed a young man with special needs use a keypad to explain to the young man at the counter what he would like to order?
The devices wasn?t loud enough for the counter man to hear. But when the mother stepped forward to turn the device around. The situation was clarified.
The counter then made pleasant talks with the boy, making him happy to be in the cafe.
When it came to my drink I was served by a different individual. He was very nice and perky to be working.
He made my drinks, I took them outside and then me and my father sat outside and drank them. Both agreeing they were lovely.
Hope you guys are doing well and that you keep the good work.
Dietary restrictions: There is a sign at the till point on the desk counter. That happily explains that because they are in tight quarters that there maybe some cross contamination.
For example if you have a hazelnut allergy, then you best be cautious when selecting certain products.
Parking: Now because this Costa is seated right in the middle of Heswall. This makes parking tricky.
First for free parking there?s the Linghams parking bay (three cars only), across the road (very much full everyday) and then there?s Tescos parking lot (as long as you don?t stay there to long, Tescos is your best option).
Kid-friendliness: The boy ahead was (I think) 7 years old.
And for someone with learning disabilities, I too know what it?s like to be different.
But the young man at the counter. He treated the boy as if he was a regular customer. This made me so proud of him.
Please tell this young man how incredibly kind he was.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, it?s all one floor. And for those who like peace and quiet there?s an area in the back fitted for studying or work purposes.

Nice and relaxing location, with great staff.Kid-friendliness: I was there with 4 children and they were running in and out of the shop (like kids do) playing in the space out front and there was enough room for them not to disturb anyone.

The service was very slow, the maestro didn't seem to have any clue about what he was doing either.
