Lovely pub, food was lovely, hot and tasty. Plenty of choice too. Service was friendly and we weren't rushed. Only negative was as it was a hot day doors were open and there were quite a number of fly's that we had to keep wafting away while trying to eat. Despite this would dine there again.

Perfect.
We had a gathering today of 30+ people after celebrating our friends life. Perfect in every way, from initial contact to paying bill.
Lots of staff involved in making our afternoon perfect. Mary, and others serving us on the bar, Adam ( I think)and a few other guys looked after us all as well. A professional service from them all. Wish every pub had this sort of staff and service.
As for the food?.. another perfect. We catered for 40, as it?s always very hard to judge in these circumstances. We probably only had 35, attending for food and drinks. Food was of the best quality, and plenty of choice. The staff asked me several times if we needed more food. They were very attentive.
We had an open bar for our group, and I feel,this was perfectly managed.
If you want a gathering here, it is perfect. Beautiful surroundings, attentive staff and exceptional food.
Thankyou Grieve Dunning . I?m from Liverpool, but would consider having other gatherings with you.
