Visited after walking to the Hilbre Islands last week. Lovely pub, decorated so nice on the outside that's what caught our eye.
Managed to get a table on a Saturday night without booking which was great.
We had the steak and ale pie and the cheeseburger for our mains. Food was nice, shame the pie didn't have more steak in and the gravy wasn't home made .
Would visit again and try something different

One of our favourite places to eat by far! Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff are amazing, couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Amazing. Could bot fault anything. Family of 5, 3 roasts, drinks couple kids meals, £110. Not bad at all. Quality great as well. Would advise booking on a sunday

Helen and Dan were amazing.They were both welcoming and lovely.They made an amazing effort to make the meal enjoyable and rememberable by putting balloons and a banner out, it was so thoughtful. I had a lovely time and we will definitely come back.

Poor quality food. My son's lasagne was a mush. Staff were very pleasant, but sadly, I won't be returning for a meal

We stayed here overnight (Britstop location) to get the boat from Liverpool to Belfast the next morning. Loved the place so we stayed here on our way back aswell.
Had a very warm welkome from Dan and Helen, great meals (loved the sticky toffee pudding) and there is a park nearby were you can go for a walk.
