Busy pub in the middle of a housing estate. On a Saturday afternoon it was full of people shouting at tv screens watching football and rugby. Good selection of beers and good service from the bar staff. Only there for a drink after a walk. Didn't see any food being served so don't know if they do food or not. Tall tables and high stool seating isn't for me but must appeal to some because the pub had plenty.

Lovely pub, spotlessly clean, with welcoming staff.Great selection of beers 10 lagers/ciders and 8 different real ales.Can't comment on food as we only called in for a beer, but by a clear country mile the best pub in the area.

A most welcome site after a 10 mile walk.Nice atmosphere and nicely done out. Very helpful and friendly staff.The service was quick and the food good.Great selection of beers... and most importantly, they sell Neck Oil.
