This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have been to.. we have been to Milan and Sorrento is Miles above... Staff are so welcoming and kind .. food is devine and true Italian cuisine... Grazie grazie grazie...

Had excellent ravioli, parmigiana, sanguinaccio, insalata di mare and insalata caprese. Even the eight month old enjoyed himself!
Will return again as good Italian is hard to find.

Great service, very good food and gluten free options.
Unfortunately the sound insulation is lacking and I find the noise too much when it's busy, which is a great shame but the terrace is great when the weather is good - just wish they had smoking and non-smoking areas.

We lost Sorrentos in Orrell , but we were delighted to be able to go to Formby a dusk meet up with the staff again. I have nothing negative to say about Sorrentos. Great food, superb service and a lovely atmosphere.Special mention to Marco.Kid-friendliness: Had our three year old who never speaks to " strangers". She was chatting to all the staff.

The place was busy but the food was very poor. My wife and I had different meals and we both said it tasted quite bland and my daughter said her tortellini was worse than a cheap supermarket budget brand. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon
