Called in for lunch after a long beach walk. What a lovely place. Bright, modern,friendly and inviting. FRom someone considered a bit of a Wetherspoons officianado this is one of their best! Will definitely be back

Some of the female staff require training in customer service, attitude of two members of staff disgraceful towards the end of the evening, they obviously didn't want to be there.

Had a lovely lunch. It's well decorated with comfortable seating. Toilets upstairs are spotless. Food standard weatherspoons fare, tasty and very cheap. Good service.

Best Weatherspoons around and not only I think that. Family and friends have travelled on 2 trains from Wirral and also friends from South Liverpool. Atmosphere very relaxed, staff really pleasant and great location

Went for early tea with grandchildren. They had sausage chips and beans followed by icecream with sauce. Adults had curry with rice and chips. All great quality kids really loved the chips. Terrific value for money.

Quick service, well cooked food, and hot too!! (Not always the case I've found in some wetherspoons!) Would recommend The Lifeboat to anyone.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs available around the pub.
