When I moved my prescriptions over to this delivering pharmacist I was told they deliver twice a day to Hightown. I was also told that blister packs are delivered tues or wednesday as they are timed and dated to start medications at 9am Friday. For the last three weeks I have had numerous problems. I have had insulin approved by my gp on a Thursday morning and have then run out and still not had any delivered by Monday. The next time I ordered insulin again along with other medication for pancreatitis which was approved by my Gp on Monday morning and I expected to get it maybe tues or wed with my blister pack but no Thursday comes still no delivery so I start to panic as my lifesaving heart medications have run out and I need my blister pack for 9am meds on Friday. I cannot ring the shop because their telephone system is broken and has been I gather for more than a year and even when you mention it they just acknowledge its broken. The voicemail system asks for a mailbox number during the day and at exactly 6pm it doesnt even ring it just says the voicemail box is full. On this occasion I get a knock on the door at 8.20pm apologising for the late delivery but they had to deliver end of life medications to southport, and all thry had was my blister pack and not my insulin ordered four full working days earlier so i had to go with high glucose levels of 26 until the next day but why couldn't they deliver to me on the twice daily deliveries over three days? When you do get an answer during normal working hours after maybe 6 attempts they give you false promises saying it will be delivered this afternoon but never do.Last week they delivered my blister pack at 1.20pm Friday when my morning doses of medication is supposed to be at 9am.The last straw was my mothers controlled prescription had been promised to be delivered one afternoon but it wasn't so on driving to the shop found I was 2 minutes late 6.02pm The pharmacist was upstairs above the shop with all the lights on and I could see lights on at the back of the shop so thought maybe the delivery driver was loading. The doorbell on the front was broken but the doorbell on the back door was brand new. I rang it but no answer so I rang it a few times incase the pharmacist couldn't hear it or was listening to a radio. I would go to the front and see him in the window and then ring the bell again just incase he heard it and would see me on the cctv. The pharmacist knows me by now as he doesn't need my name when pulling up my prescriptions etc.The following day my mother called again and was promised afternoon delivery but no show again so I drove to the health rooms despite a huge traffic jam and traffic lights. I arrived at 5.55pm and no my mothers prescription had not been sent out as it seems it hadn't even been prepared yet. The pharmacist came down the stairs along with my blister pack and other meds and asked me had I been ringing the doorbell after closing the day before. Obviously he had seen me or he wouldn't of asked. I tried to explain but he just said this would be the last prescription as evidently ringing the shop doorbell is inappropriate (his words) a few minutes after 6pm. Is it not inappropriate to not deliver important medication when you say you will? or at 8.20pm when you're panicking you have no heart medication for the following morning? and no way of contacting the pharmacy. There is more to this picture and I suspect this pharmacy has tried to wind me up with late deliveries because they don't like doing blister packs or are just to lazy.Sorry for the lengthy review but I just want to make sure as I am told I am in the top 5 google reviewers in my area that the 125,000 views of my reviews each month are aware of the circumstances and that I dont seem petty.Needless to say I wouldnt recommend anyone puts their lives at risk waiting and waiting for medications to arrive as promised

They go over and above for their customers and exceed all expectations. For example I had a problem with my surgery and they were able to sort it out for me. They deliver prescriptions to my house and are always so helpful, empathetic and clearly care about their customers. Thank you and keep up the good work! I will continue to promote this place to all of my friends and family x

This is an excellent pharmacy the staff are so friendly & helpful & quick to respond to any request. The turn around time to deliver our pharmaceutical needs is amazing, usually less than 24hrs from our request to the GP, & we live in Southport. I would wholeheartedly recommend Formby Health Rooms to everyone, you don't have to be a resident of Formby to use them.
