The self check don?t work the guy has to come each time to sort it out. I?ve never been told to stop saying sorry before by staff. Only apologising for their incompetent set up. But he didn?t get it.

What a joke I came in here to do a shopping early in the morning. Bought an energy drink and was challenged for ID. I?m 23years old. The cashier pointed at the sign that?s states if you look under 25 you can?t buy 18 products, what I was buying was 16+ not 18+.
I find it extremely insluting this was even asked for as I do not look 15!
Upon further research the challenge 25 law is not required when buying 16+ restricted products so discretion could?ve been used like it is when I visit Tesco or Sainsbury?s up the road (never had this problem there).
It was 7am when kids are preparing for school, I?m plainly dressed and do NOT look 15 years old! The staff member was obviously miss-informed on the law on this, being the reason he pointed to the challenge 25 sign (which doesn?t apply in this circumstance).
I put all my items back and won?t be returning, complaint has been raised.

Usually love this shop and staff but over the last few months there have been a lot of staff changes . The older woman small in height dark hair is beyond rude !! She is snotty when you go over to the till like she really can?t be bothered being there ! I know a few locals who actually avoid the shop if she is working which is sad !! Constantly slagging off her staff members and she?s not quiet about it and can be heard around the shop. Really do need to sort your staff out I?m afraid .

A particularly hostile encounter with a worker from this store called Francesco. He is persistently rude to me and when I enquired about the complaints procedure he became aggressive asking for my identification to then not go on and serve me. I have filed a complaint.

I went into this store at 8-20 pm, all newspapers off the rack, I asked for a paper but the member of staff said she couldn't sell me one because she had already counted the returns which were behind the counter, surely they should have been on sale until at least 30 mins before closing, NOT GOOD
