Tried to draw 260 out of the ATM Mon 9th Oct around 730am but the machine didn't dispense the money so I went in the branch a few hours later to see if they could assist me and initially a woman said yes then she asked do I bank with them I said yes but it wasn't my Santander card that I withdrew money off it was HSBC card she very quickly changed tone of her voice and persona then and said you need to speak to HSBC I replied it was their ATM nothing to do with HSBC to which she said we can't do anything very abruptly and rudely which raised my anxiety further as I needed that money that day and she became really very passive aggressive with me which turned on to a lively argument when 2 of her colleagues came out and I quote one of them saying you're the only one who's acted like this about the ATM not giving money out. I found out later that it had been happening since Saturday 2 days before so there would have been lots of customers in same predicament. Anyway they rang the police despite me NOT THREATENING OR USING ANY BAD LANGUAGE. I just wanted my money I was owed. The police came 5 officers and 3 cars and I was told by one of the officers that the disgusting LIAR with the glasses on said I had become abusive which was a scandalous LIE and I will be taking this further and ensuring these 3 face disciplinary action for their conduct they are an utter DISGRACE

The staff are rude and talk down to customers. They are not friendly or kind it's false. Bad attitudes from them all they speak smarmy to everyone. The maganger a Asian lady also allows her staff to treat customers badlyShe allowed her staf to be rude to a lady and dis nothing but side with her staffThey treated me badly few times now so I closed my account with themI think they need better staffGet rid of them allStart againGet some people who have skills to deal with the publicI will be taking ot to the liverpool echo next time

Dishonest thieves, paid £450 cash in to atm, swallowed the money and they claim I didn't deposit any. Staff in branch lied and have blatantly took the money when they have opened the machine. I will not stop until your branch is closed. You thieves.

I went in to the branch yesterday. I needed help to get my online banking started and set up. I was helped the moment i walked in by a truly helpfull kind friendly member of staff. The lady in question showed how proffessional she was by the patience she showed me, as the app took time to download. So kind, so helpfull, so attentive. And to put the icing on the cake, we talked about my favourite sport, boxing!!!! Thankyou from the bottom of my heart. The chocolates were just a thankyou.

It is slightly clean sometimes grubby. Staff is so nice. However it keeps on shutting down which is really not helpful.

Loses change of address details. No working opt out for voice recognition. Compliance and Risk team unable to recognise, manage and monitor Data Protection risks. Provides only a voicemail and never replies. No customer service phone numbers. Customers beware!

This is a question as I am finding it difficult to contact the bank.Hi, Help, I have been scammed by someone into buying something through Market Place. They gave me their Santander account no, Sort code and name so I that I could make a bank transfer to them which they received. I have traced it to Bridle Road, Bootle, Merseyside bank. How can I contact the person?

A cheque issued by the Bank of England to be cashed at Santander International Banking System, Merseyside L30 4GB was not cashed for weeks, despite a reminder from the CH-Swift Bank at Santander. After the Bank of England intervened, it turned out that the cheque had been lost at Santander...! It seems appropriate that the procedures at this bank should be reviewed. Certainly not a banking practice that inspires confidence.
