Why oh why don't they clean the shopping baskets, they are a disgrace with inch thick gunge in the bottom of them. Surely Lidl can contract someone in to clean them. I just put the food straight into my bag now, especially fruit and veg. So come on Lidl get your finger out, or do I ask environmental health officer to look into it.

As an old Dutch/ German guy I always did fo my shopping in there because it's cheap and you can get fresh bakery items from less than a quid
