“It's local with cheap prices so your not paying over the odds for the items. It only gets 4 stars due to the size of the store, there are larger ones nearby that sell more items. Very handy store though”

“I can't get myself too excited about B&M, and that isn't due to any shortfall in service on their part, only because it's a general store in the same kind of mould as Home Bargains, and to some extent Wilko. Branches seem to vary somewhat depending on location, some have a large garden section for example,(Ellesmere Port) and some don't (Bootle).The Bootle branch is great for all your everyday necessities, from cushions to coconut milk, emulsion paint to elastic bands. Not the most comprehensive biscuit selection I've ever seen - one has to venture to Home Bargains for Bolands Lemon Puffs for example. However, the staff are friendly and good humoured and chocolate Hob Nobs are not to be sniffed at.”

“You really need to get more trollies. I seen a woman walking around with two connected trollies because they were jammed together. What trollies were available all had coins stuck in them so were useless! I would have dropped at least £200 on my last visit if I had a trolly but I only had a basket and my back could only carry 40 quids worth of stuff. Trollies cost buttons! Get more!!!!”

“A discount retailer with plenty of bargain's. Even though I no longer need to seek out bargains, I still visit this place because the selection available here is second to none. Your 'Steve's' and 'Tracey's' can usually be round in the isles here before visiting the post office downstairs to cash in their giros.”

“Large shop with all sorts of things for from clothes, electrical items for the kitchen and lots more also a cafe which was closed when we visited at three o'clock in the afternoon so can't give any review about the cafe,but looks nice and clean.”
