One of our favourite spots during our trip to Liverpool and Port Sunlight! This adorable tea room instantly stole our hearts, so cozy and full of charm. It was a warm day when we visited. It got a bit stuffy inside, but that didn?t spoil the experience. We treated ourselves to some delicious scones and a pot of tea, all very on theme. And the staff, so kind and welcoming. 10/10 experience!

This is a perfect little tea room. The staff there is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the tea and all the food is great. We'll definitely be going back!

Went here today with my little boy while we where out in the village. I would highly recommend. Although the food took a little while I can only assume this is because it was fresh and the place was full to bursting. I had the breakfast baguette, which has really nice and really hot. My son had the kids pizza which came with blackcurrant juice and crisp. An even thought the place was full, the staff were very attentive and friendly, and happy to help. I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you are in the village and we will be returning.

I don?t normally do reviews unless necessary but as this involved my toddler I feel the need to make a comment incase any children eat here. We stopped at the Tudor Rose tearooms after a walk round the village, it was a lovely day so we sat outside. We spent £17.00 for a pot of rose tea, a cucumber mint ice drink, a slice of Victoria sponge and a children?s meal which was supposed to be a dairyLea sandwich, quavers, cupcake and fruit shoot. My mum noticed that her glass wasn?t very clean, my sister found a hair in her cup and most importantly my toddler?s sandwich was dry and stale. As she was helping herself we only noticed after she had eaten some that the bread was stale and hard like toasted, the cream cheese didn?t look freshly spread. I can only assume that it was made a while earlier which made me think it was leftover off someone?s afternoon tea platter. I would not normally make a review but this angered me as food should be served fresh especially for an infant or child, i left feeling worried that she will have a poorly stomach! Definitely a leftover sandwich as we hadn?t even been there long and bread doesn?t go stale that fast if it is fresh. Even the quavers were tasteless maybe old too. We complained to a member of staff and he agreed the sandwich was stale, he offered a remake but I felt put off after the dirty glass and hair in cup. My toddlers fruit shoot was served in an open cup which had dust/bits floating in it, unusual and unhygienic for youngsters, they normally have unopened, sealed drinks. It?s all good trying to be aesthetic and vintage but it should come with some degree of cleanliness. She didn?t get her cupcake but I?m glad in case it was off yesterdays platter. We were given no refund and the manager did not come out to apologise, which is why I decided to make this review. Staff don?t seem very friendly here and it is only afterwards we realised there is no score on the door for hygiene, we should have checked this but we won?t be returning. Victoria sponge was decent, slightly dry but tasty. Still its a shame, as the village is a lovely place to have afternoon tea. Just not here, I recommend the Art Gallery Café.

Mother?s Day afternoon tea was delicious. Nice touch that you choose your own sandwiches and large slice of cake. Served with a selection of small cakes, crisps, salad. And of course, scone, cream, jam. Only disappointment was that it was not clotted cream, but this did not take away from the fact that it was delish! And a really fabulous touch - when leaving, they gave the mums a miniature handbag filled with chocolates. All in all an excellent experience. I will be going back.

Lovely tea room but not dog friendly. Have to sit outside if have a dog and
Sitting outside a bit problematic as the pavement is slanted so the table is also. On a windy day everything gets blown off. However if you haven't a dog it's a beautiful cafe lovely vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful.
5 stars if not having a dog but for me 3 stars as not dog friendly and I have a dog
