Had a lovely and pleasant experience in this Pharmacy, there is a new gentleman from Liverpool in command. He was very helpful and his team of girls could not do enough for me. They had my medication ready in no time and I was able to have my blood pressure taken before I left. I was even given a cup of water and offered some biscuits too. Made my day and I felt very honoured.

Absolutely disgusting service,Rude older female staff who spend far to much time talking amongst themselves. Yet again, this pharmacy has changed hands, with another new refit inside with a smaller service counter and poor layout. People are spending 30 mins plus to be served and queue of people right back to the main entrance which is a health and safety hazard for elderly people forced to stand, the floor was dirty and covered in leafs.

i've had bad experiences with pharmacys, but like this one never, they don't have a phone number and the one that's on google is useless, waited for a diabetes prescription over 5 weeks and i could go on and on with the problems because it is endless with them

Absolutely diabolical service, on a number of occasions I have not received my full repeats - being a week or more short, and then when I am short, they refuse to provide me with my meds, which the doctor issued a prescription for ten days prior, saying they aren?t due - I?ve run out, so they are wrong one way or another! The staff are rude (one in particular) and obnoxious. I didn?t have the option to give zero stars. I don?t normally write negative reviews but my experience warrants it.

I am moving elsewhere , staff who worked there used to be so polite now all you get is patronising non helpful staff , was down there on Saturday and the woman who I spoke to was a disgrace, reading through the reviews what Fred says is spot on , one particular lady is very rude , thinks serving people is beneath her and always makes excuses , takes a lot for me to change my ways but I would advise anyone looking for somewhere to get their prescription from to look elsewhere, best answer you will get is " it's not our fault " , pathetic service

Had 8 days to sort it and was given the same old excuse "we've had to order them In" come back Monday.Just laughably bad.Whilst waiting to get served there was another obvious repeat customer venting his frustration with them.Think I'll be going to Lloyd's online from now on. (Internet wins yet again)

This chemist is the worst chemists I've ever had the misfortune of having to use. The constant messing around with not receiving medication, the hour + wait, outside with no seating for the disabled or vulnerable before you even give your name in is diabolical, Only to be told either we don't know where your prescription is or you'll have to come back later or tomorrow, even though they've had there alloted two day turnaround. I had to collect medication for either my partner or her father who live a few minutes away from the pharmacy on numerous occasions and every single time there has been a problem. I've lived in the middle of nowhere on occasions in my life and have had medication sorted out quicker.

EDIT: Asking people to complain again to an email address is not going to solve the obvious situation, which is that this Pharmacy needs new management or a serious amount of training. You can respond all you want to everyone saying that you are "concerned" but people are busy and just want to see change. One thing from these reviews I would massively agree with is that the prescriptions are not made up until you go to the counter which is what makes this pharmacy stand out from others. I can understand if the script has just come through but sometimes days later they appear like they haven't got a clue what it was or where it is and start searching shelves and drawers before returning to the computer screen again for what seems like ages. Then declaring "here it is" and telling you "won't be long" and move on to the next customer. Then you're left waiting for half an hour sometimes.I'm not repeating myself in an email. You've read the reviews. Instigate change.I've been holding off leaving a review for this place for ages as I didnt want to harm my relationship with the staff but I have now switched to an online pharmacy and feel I need to say what I think. They have one speed: snail. The ladies just stand with their glasses on their noses peering down at a computer screen like it is something they've never seen before and will ignore all customers at their own leisure. They are rude. They are slow and the fact that they have not listened to the barage of poor reviews on multiple platforms over long time just goes to show they are arrogant too.

Even when ordering online well in advance of collection, prescription is rarely made up until I get there. There is usually a bit of a wait; sometimes a long one. Once I ordered meds a week before going to pick them up, only to be told on my arrival that the supplier had ceased production. Nobody had bothered to call me and I was by then almost out of a drug that produces severe side effects if you suddenly stop taking it. I had to get an emergency GP appointment and look at other suppliers who could deliver urgently. Very stressful and could've been avoided with better customer care.

This pharmacy needs to have a manager that is good at planning and organisation. Never had a prescription full filled and always need to come back for owed tablets and in some cases have been back 3 times just to get what?s owed. Why can?t prescriptions be ready made up like other pharmacies!!! Have already complained via the standard process but that hasn?t made any difference. Will be using another pharmacy from now on.

Worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. I complained back in February of this year about this pharmacy to Head Office, but nothing has improved. See letter below.Complaints Manager, Superintendents Department, Rowlands Pharmacy, Rivington Road, Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn, WA7 3DJDear Complaints manager,.I wish to bring to your attention and make a formal complaint concerning the Rowlands branch as above. The pharmacy owed me some medication which was from a prescription dated 5th February.Today I, and another customer waited at the counter around 10 minutes before anyone even asked us what we wanted, although they could all see we were waiting to be served. The other customer told me ? ?they are just ignoring me?. Then I waited, only to be told they did not have any of my drug in stock and when I asked, confirmed they had had none for the last two weeks. They said they had a ?supply problem?. I explained I would only have a few days of the medication left, and it was suggested I get my GP to change the prescription ! My consultant has specifically prescribed *******. This is far from a satisfactory solution to the problem, as there would of course be a delay in getting my GP to do this, with no guarantee that they could supply this change of drug. Why, if the pharmacy know there is a supply problem with any particular drug, had they not informed me before (I had given them my contact number) and then possibly the prescription could have been in place by today. It would be far better organisation and more satisfactory for the customer than just wait for them to pitch up.Everything seems to be last minute with no forward planning.Customers are often kept waiting for as long as 30 minutes, and then even more frustratingly to be told ? sorry we haven?t got this drug in?, or ?we can only give you some and you?ll have to come back and see if we can get you the rest?. No one saying ?we?ll ring you when it?s in.? Many customers who work cannot keep coming back on the off chance their drug may be in stock. This is not an isolated incident, but has been occurring for a many months now, not only with me but other customers who have been in the pharmacy at the same time.I do not believe it is solely a supply problem as it is happening too often . There does not appear to be any contingency planning in place to deal with this issue. Why is no one apparently doing anything to solve this problem?I do believe it to be more of an organisational problem with the staff, as there doesn?t appear to be enough permanent staff and too many locums. There appears to be no one taking charge to avoid the problems already stated.I have now looked into getting a supply from a different pharmacy and they have assured me they can get ******* without a problem, so why can?t this pharmacy get it?Although it is more inconvenient for me, I have had no choice but to get future prescriptions from this other pharmacy, which by the way is another Rowlands.Quite recently the staff stuck a hand written notice on the front door, and on the counter, to say how understaffed they were and would not tolerate any further abuse from customers. I totally agree staff should not have to experience this, but it does give you a flavour of the atmosphere within the pharmacy, and the problems they are encountering. Many staff do seem to me quite stressed. Too much to do, not enough staff to do it, and no one taking charge. In summary,EMPLOY A COMPETENT MANAGER !If any other retailer had this poor level of customer service and customer satisfaction they would have gone out of business long ago. As it is you seem to be relying on customers just putting up with it.Well it is as bad or worse now. Staff are unmotivated, appear to be uncaring that they can't give patients the drugs they need, and are often totally unhelpful.

To say their customer service is appalling, is very much in the right direction.Never. Have I been made to feel worthless and like I am putting other people at an inconvenience than I do with the women in this pharmacy. To have to justify why you have come in for YOUR OWN RX! Only to be looked at like dirt and told to return another day as it wasn't 48hrs or it was at the "hub"One order took me three separate visits over nine days to finally get my rx.If I said this was only happening to myself, it would be a lie.My wife, family and many friends have had equally unpleasant encounters here, and sadly, with almost every visit.Such a shame when the Dr's and staff at the surgery next door are absolutely lovely.

since oxton village pharmacy closed I have used this one the service is slow and you have to wait an extra day for your prescription as they send your script to a hub it is always busy and because of this the staff don't really have time to speak to you if you have any problems I don't blame the staff but I do blame the Rowlands organisation for closing the oxton village shop which was well run and offered excellent service

This place was bad enough when it was Haven but since changing to Rowlands i have watched it get even worse every time i go in. Today for instance i placed my order on Monday and it wasn't ready as usual so why even bother to place your order 2 days before so you end up waiting best part of a hour just to be told that they only have six tablets and try again tomorrow, they might have the other 22 in, i have difficulty walking due to arthritis and this is the nearest chemist to me other wise i would gladly go elsewhere, the staff are rood and quite arrogant, what ever happened to good service.
