I rang Halifax today. On the plus side their computer did advise me it would be a twenty minute wait. On the downside I do think that if they are going to close down branches at the rate they do, they do need to beef up the telephony service by a factor of ten. The fact is that not everything can be done online. I appreciate profits are important but at the expense of wasting so much of customers time they really don?t deserve to make them. If I find someone better I?ll vote with my feet.
