Has to be the worst CEX in the country. Staff were rude, bordering on abusive. Had to contact CEX directly for resolution.

Been coming for many years and don?t think ever had bad experience with the staff or other customers at cex Birkenhead. Today however The male staff member with the beard dealt with a distressed customer in the most kindest, understanding, yet professional way - despite the customers frustration toward the male staff member. I?ve given four stars as I accepted my item for certain amount of cash which was a standard offer and even though we would all like a few quid extra depending on the condition of the item, a lot of used items realistically may not generate the most possible cash. So whilst it?s important to shop around cex still can offer realistic amounts for your items.

My product was completely knocked back despite being fully functioning and having nothing wrong with it but minor cosmetic wear. By knocked back I mean completely rejected. They said there was wear on the strap of a VR headset. I had a look and it's really not bad at all. Hardly noticeable and has literally no impact on anyone's ability to use the product. I don't even fully understand the complaint. I would have accepted grade C, but no. Nothing. It's not even in poor condition really which is your company's grading description for C. Perhaps it's a hard and time consuming product to test so it's easier just to reject it, who knows...
The staff were polite and nice so no complaints with them, but I just disagree with whatever parameters you use to analyse products. It's a waste of time and travel for a person with a decent product in a fair condition. Unless your product is in Mint condition, don't waste your time.

Went a few years back and this is still on my mind about how bad the womans customer service is? she has no customer service skills and talked down on me when trying to sell some headphones. Woman was shortish with a beanie. She made me feel embarrassed and shouted that my headphones smell!!! Have never gone back since that day.

After receiving excellent sales care from the first person we saw, we had to leave a MINT CONDITION tablet for analysis and come back later to get the cash. The knocked £17 off the original price for a minute scratch that WAS NOT THERE WHEN WE LEFT IT. Shoddy. Not happy at all.
