What an amazing find! Stopped for lunch and was stuck for choice over the Gluten Free choices. I had vegetable lasagne and the most amazing lemon and white chocolate cake. So tasty and well made. The cake was moist and they gave us a double chocolate chip cake to taste. Service was excellent. Well worth a visit.

What a lovely little gem. Hidden away at the top of Woodhall spa up a little alleyway good value been in twice whilst visiting Woodhall spa. Try it. You won?t be disappointed

Decor a little dated but it was clean and the owner and staff were very friendly. We had a good cup of tea and excellent coffee with a generous portion of delicious fresh baked cake - of which there was a really nice selection to choose from (and mostly gluten free). Garden seating area basic but nice. The cafe was recommended to us for hot food and sandwiches although we didn't have on this occasion. Very reasonably priced and on a par with similar cafes.

Visited this cafe twice while staying in Woodhall Spa on holiday. First time we had toasted sandwiches which came with chips & salad. 2nd visit we had lasagne chips & salad & pulled pork over chips, both were excellent. We had cake to take away for later. Excellent range on the menu including GF vege etc & prices were very reasonable. Service was very friendly & quick. We sat outside as we had a dog & they even brought her a bowl of water.

We first came last week for lunch which was absolutely lovely so thought we would try breakfast this morning .
And of course we wasn?t disappointed it was beautiful could not fault anything.
working with in the catering business ourselves it?s had to eat out as we have high expectations but the Melrose Cafe definitely stands up to our expectations would definitely recommend this place ?
